Hi there everyone, I'm a long time lurker of the forums and such, and I've finally decided to come out of my sad little lurker shell and say hello! I've just recently started collecting cards and have quite a tidy little collection of ellusionist and T11 decks.
I'm from Singapore, aside from the fact that it costs a bomb for shipping, I just wanted to give a shout out to any fellow Singaporeans here on the forums, I'm quite sure there are a few! Thanks for reading, I'm sure I'll have a great time on these forums!!!

P.S. I don't know how folks overseas maintain their collections. I know that shops in Singapore and Malaysia get tons of decks but if you're looking to buy on release...dang. And the shipping time. And the customs. And the shipping damage. o_o

Thanks for the warm welcome, @alex yeah it does kinda burn a hole in the pocket, but as far as the shipping is concerned, it's actually not too bad, most reliable resellers do package the decks with plenty of bubble wrap!
@whiteace, sure man, I'm kinda lonely in this hobby of mine, and I'm more into magic rather than flourishing, but I do dabble in flourishes too.

Hey, I'm surprised I don't see anyone playing with cards on the trains and busses considering the number of Singaporeans in to flourishing and magic, its great to see more Singaporeans around, pity I don't see any in public flaunting their abilities, I would go over and say hi.
Alex, Normally the people who send stuff over here make their packaging indestructable ( except handlordz, they just can't be bothered. Don't really like them anyway ). There normally isn't damage but when there is damage its pretty big damage, my purple NOC was ripped to shreds in the shipment HOPC had to give me a new one.

How many Singaporean users are there on these forums? Like litterally 50+% of the people here seem to be from singapore... It's not a bad thing, it's just incredibly impressive to me. Anyways, Welcome to the forums! People are generally very nice here (except when they disagree), and I hope you'll have a fun time!

@redtank I really don't think people would want to spill cards all over the floor of the trains, they do get pretty bumpy sometimes XD
@Whiteace I stay in the central district, but its along red line so woodlands is pretty accessible!
@Don I was also pretty curious about that, I didn't think this hobby was very popular over here....

It might not be as big as baseball, but there's a good number of members here from your country. Seriously, ask around.

Jk. I think the reason why there are tons of Singaporean card enthusiasts is becuse of the Virts and a number of awesome Singaporean cardists. :P (correct me if I am wrong)
But anyway, Welcome welcome. We are glad to have you here with us at Aethercards!
Since you have been lurking around, you probably already know that there are tons of topics here that will take up your time and render your lifeless (at times) hahahah!!
