Yes I am bored. :(
For some reason time in China runs really slowly and I get to finish everything I have to do really early and I still have tons of time to spare. So I try to do other things. Like read books, practice flourishing, doodle on some designs, talk to friends or whatever. Thing is I'm such a pro at multi tasking that I tend to finish those other things quickly as well. :D
So right now I'm left with nothing to do. :'(
I know I can Aether here, or something. But I don't reply on topics I don't relate to much or reply to topics I'm not really interested in. I want to do something else online or not. (note: its winter here and I have not adjusted to the cold yet, so I always get sick when I'm out) ???

Yeap! I have. I'm actually pretty good at Temple run! hahahaha! I have another app called Death Runner and I think its harder than temple run ^_^.
ps. told you I feel so picky.... I think its my horomones. BLAH sucks to be a girl.

Google's fine to use. They redirect the users to google.hk when the headquarter in Beijing closed down several years ago.

9gag is where content (mostly memes) is stolen from other sites and claimed as its own.

You should be able to get the epic novel "Journey to the West", seeing as how it's considered a famous Chinese folk tale. It was the basis for two very well known Japanese anime: "Saiyuki" and all the "Dragonball" shows/movies. The characters also pop up in other places, like "Read or Die, the TV Series". It's pretty long, would likely take you more than the time you have left in China to finish.

Actually currently it is not that bad IMO. Taiwan and China have been in state of hostility for more than 60 years (believe it or not, until the '70s the main purpose of Taiwan armed forces was to retake China), but China has changed in these 20 years. Much better than before.

It's definitely much better. But it's still there. The Communist Party is still there, and so is some of their enforcements. Though it may seem otherwise, you probably still don't want to talk about it out in the public.

@Jack and the thief, it's only my opinion, sxjy0109 knows China better than me. There are still many restrictions especially when things are involved in politics and thoughts. At lease people can not go to Tian-an-men to say anything that the government doesn't like to hear ::)

I don't know much about Russia (at least they did one thing funny last year), but life in North Korea is really ridiculous.

Actually, recently they had one journalist who was able to go, take a couple thousand of pictures, and come back. 99% of the people there are living in COMPLETE misery. They can't leave, they are stuck. If they choose to leave the country they must abandon their families, kids etc. There's much more horror to it that I don't want to mention including MILLIONS of cases of abuse and rape by the rich government officials. I'm going to stop here.

Im typically never bored myself. But it does happen from time to time. Usually I go through my magic dvd's and pick out ones I havent seen in a while or practiced. I always tend to find jems that I totally forgot about and start re-practicing them. Not sure if your in to magic, card collecting or just flourishing. But I can always seem to find something to do in those categories whether it be here at home or researching it on the internet. I always love to learn new things. Hence why I am a member on the discourse ;)

@sxjy0109, so far as I know, it is very quiet there. Even though you are a tourist or reporter, if you speak loudly, people think you are saying something bad to the country and soon the policemen show up. Of course, no picture allowed.

The form of government here is AMAZING! I'm serious. Com with Capitalism is the best thing that has ever happened to this nation. The advances that their country and cities have made are just superb in a short span of time.
The efficiency of the people and the workers are incomparable else where IMO of course.
The government really takes care of their people despite what others think. Those who has something bad to say about this country are mainly ignorant people who has never stepped foot here. And those people probably think that we ride elephants and have pet pandas in the backyard.
But anyway,

I have been in China once and I disagree with some (few) things that you said. I also think there are some disadvantages... but anyways, since you are in China right now, I won't disagree with you.

I am decided not to debate on this matter with someone who is far from adulthood.
I used to live here in Beijing back in 2005 then went back to the Philippines 2009 to study, and spend 1-2 months every year vacationing in Beijing and now I'm back and living here again. So yeah.... I pretty much kinda know how it is here.
Anyway,
What is a good zombie game for the PC? I already have the Left for Deads, and I really want to try something new.
Any suggestions. I really want to drop the whole government talk.

The original Left 4 Dead was an amazing game, only game I every played at a highly competitive level at. For other zombie games, I have heard that Killing Floor is a decently fun game, but I have never really played it. Then I guess there is the Resident Evil series, but once again, I have not played those either.

Dead Space is a fantastic sci-fi zombie game, definitely worth checking out.
Dead Island is an open world/survival/rpg, although I've never played it.

lol I'll change it asap. I'm not sure, probably the game play. I preferred shooting those zombies (FPS) than beating the crap outta them. You occasionally pick up a gun or two, but they run out of bullets real quick. If you played L4D2, you probably won't like it much either. By the way, if you played L4D2, not L4D, and in private, there're some big updates with new maps recently. You should try them out!

Same here. I LAN with my friends. I like playing together cause we could actually talk and communicate. I find it awkward using group chats with some stranger while shooting zombies >.<. But that's just me.

Deck hunting is a zero right now. I haven't gone to any of the places I would have gone to because I am still adjusting to the weather and Climate here. But now that it is getting warmer and spring is right around the corner (plus salary is also around the corner) I will be able to go. Also SlyS is here in Beijing and we will be able to meet up soon to go to a card/magic shop together! Squeeeeeee

I forgot the name of the shop because it was in Chinese, but its located in Xidan... right at the center area of the city near Wangfujing. Its inside the 77th Street Mall.
