How high are you expecting these to go? I am going to bet on them but later on in the auction.

I bid on the vintage lot - if I win, I'd rather not have the Virginia Slims.  I don't usually buy advertisements for tobacco or liquor.  If I win, I'll be selling off the two Marlboro decks right off the bat.

I bidded a bit on all of them. Mostly interested in #2 and the vintage brick.

If you win #3 and I win #4, I'll trade you your Dr. Leons and Vipers for both Marlboro decks.  I'll throw in the V-Slims if I get them too, in swap for Infinities.

That's not the word I would have used to describe it...  :P

For some reason eBay won't let me enable international shipping, no clue why. Rather, I "enable" it but it won't let me add options. It's annoying me because I always ship internationally.

ok so if I was to win it you can ship it to me? And what do you think the international costs would be?

Considering it's eBay which means I have to ship with insurance, about $30 for a brick.

How would you even pay for International shipping if you won? Ebay is driving me insane right now. There is no way to add international options. I could smack a child with this anger. :P

Easy, any international winner will have to send you a note to send him an invoice.

Ebay will pick up the winner is not US based and the shipping cost box will be blank when he tries to check out.

I suggest you add a note on your auctions to check with you on international shipping charges before they can bid.

If there's no International shipping specified, I don't think it lets international users bid at all...

If I win can I pay the shipping on there with the final price then you send me a paypal invoice of the extra ammount before you ship it?

I know this is kinda hard to say, but about how much do you think the mixed bricks (all except for the vintage) will individually go for?

Hopefully low so I can snatch em up ;)

But for alex`s sake I do hope they  go for a good price, I am thinking about $50 for #1, $60 for #2, $45 for #3, and $70 for vintage brick.

Wow! Those seem really cheap prices! I was expecting 20-30$ more for each!

Hmm, dunno...ask me after the auctions are over!

I'm still the high bidder on the vintage set.  [crosses fingers]

Alex, I have 2 questions:
1) You are a really trustworthy seller. How come your % feedback is so low?
2) How come shipping to Cal is 15$? Is that really the price of the shipping for 12 decks?

My feedback isn't low, I have one unsatisfied customer who tried scamming me with a phone that I sold. Before even contacting me about the problem, he left me bad feedback, and then when he contacted me he came up with some insane story about how I have to refund him the money but he doesn't have to ship me back the product. Anyway, eBay took care of it, but unfortunately you can't get silly feedback removed.

I almost never sell on eBay, so one idiot killed my otherwise perfect score. :P

C'est la guerre? Why? I think "C'est la vie!"... or "C'est la merde".

Why would he say C'est la vie if he didn't win a bid...?

Why would he say C'est la vie if he didn't win a bid...?

There are 2 important reasons that he should say c'est la vie:
1. "c'est la guerre" was Jet Li's lines. (http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/I9NfcJ2sc8k/ (http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/I9NfcJ2sc8k/))
2. "c'est la vie" is one of very few French I know. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdCM4stFFP0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdCM4stFFP0))

He should say c'est la vie because it IS life. It's too bad, but that's the way it is, and it isn't THAT bad. I mean, it's better than getting cancer, if you know what I mean.
He should also maybe say "c'est la merde" because it does suck to miss out on an awesome auction on accident.

C'est la vie. - That's life.
C'est la guerre. - That's war.  In this case, competition.
C'est la merde. - You COULD say this means "That's shit."  But you could also say that it means "That's the shit", as in that's really cool!  I think a Frenchman would be more likely to simply say "Merde" and leave it at that.
