Title: Some of my badges aren't working

I'm using v2, but I noticed I am missing 1/2 badges. I have posted more than 50 times on the same day once or twice, but I don't have that badge... :0

It's possible. 100 times in one day? Also possible. You just have to sit down and decide that today you're getting that badge. Pick a day where there is huge card news. For example, the official Harlequin Kickstarter thread will be a huge opportunity to snag the 50 or the 100, or the threads for new Ellusionist decks or random scandals. :-X

But one must be able to find really good topics to join in and not be doing anything for that day too. **sigh** now that I don't have all the time in the world and I only can stay on the Discourse for 1-2 hours MAX in a day this will be a tough-ish feat. But nonetheless I will still try.

Yeah it seems there are a lot of spams and double posts. I know that sometimes my post could use a little more work but I try to stay on topic and respond to question or help to fuel conversation. I'm always working to keep the posts around here great by doing my part. 50 really isn't too hard if there is a lot going on and you work towards good conversation about something going on in the community (deck release, big announcements, rumors, etc). 100 will be a little more difficult but like Alex said with some time and a lot of big news it's totally possible.

I'm hoping we don't see a great deal of spamming to get badges. I know we've seen it a little, but hopefully that won't last.

The funny thing is, spamming to get a badge is actually fine if you do it for the 500 posts in the Lolaq one. Seeing as how that board is 100% rule free, there is nothing stopping someone from making 500 posts in a row to unlock it.

So, for those of you in v2, what's the badge you want to get/enjoy having the most?

Probably the 200 fame badge and of course the 7,777 posts. I'll be pretty excited if I ever get the 100 posts in one day badge as well. They are a pretty cool addition to The Discourse V2.

I thought post counts are disabled in Lolaq. How would you get 500 posts if none of them count?

In v2 there is a post count specifically for the lolaq board so you would use that to count posts until you reach the 500 mark and earn the badge. Those posts don't count to your normal post count only your lolaq post count

Yeap I think its a good way to make sure that quality replies are still around and of course to test out replying capabilites.... Anyone up for some Don Boyer replies? He seems to be in every single thread here hahahahaha!!

Meh makes sense. Otherwise people would get those badges within a few hours just posting useless replies.
