Got a free deck though so alls good!!

I just love the box, so understated yet classy and the metallic backs look cool.
I'd still like to see a Purple Crown Deck in the Future though....

Well I hate to tell you this, but the Black Crown deck is the last in the Crown series.

Yeah know, I have them all, I just think the back design would look great in purple.
We are still missing a Decent purple deck.

I wish I'd got a chance to order them on the first release date, especially as I would have got an extra deck for free!
Oh well. I'll have to make do with picking one up from a reseller. :P

I saw a deck of purple wynn playing cards on ebay. I knew they were knock offs but I just loved them! I didn't end up buying them but they would have been dope looking. I'm sure we'll see a few good purple decks sometime soon

Haha well if they had them they would be in their "personal collection" and "never meant to be sold". Also we'd probably only get them in AIP bottles ;)

Did your black crowns come in a brick box?
Mines came in a compeltely unprotected cardboard box that got beat up pretty badly. 4 decks have a bumped corner. :-\
Oh well, I emailed them a bit earlier, let's see what they say.

As far as purple, there's a few good decks. Some of the goofier Rider Back color mixes have purple i them, like Fashion Berry. Magic Makers made a Purple Deck; Rider Back, white border. I personally got to see a "rainbow" White Lions purple UNCUT sheet, and it looked an awesome shade of purple, light without going all the way to lilac.

I know what you mean - my brick came in an Express Mail envelope which was worse for the wear and the decks were wrapped in corrugated cardboard, but amazingly enough they survived the trip. The issue I had was with the postal service - one, for beating the package up so much, and two, for returning it to sender, no such addressee, when I had it delivered to my recently-rented POST OFFICE BOX, right in the freakin' building! I was fortunate enough to live about 15 minutes away by car from Blue Crown, and a young woman who I presume is Alex's significant other met me at a Dunkin Donuts to hand-deliver the returned envelope to me.

You're lucky all your decks came in intact. Besides having the decks damaged, I had to pay alsmot $20 of customs. Must be a state-specific thing, as I didn't have to pay any on orders from Ellusionist or T11. Next time I want some Blue Crown products, I'll get them from a reseller outside New York. ::)
Wait, that means I can't order from NYMP either... :-\

Have you ordered large amounts like that before? That might be what triggered Customs - more than a few of the same product and they think you're importing them for sale.

Well, considering one of my Ellusionist orders contained close to 20 decks, 12 of which were the same, and a couple goodies... I'd have to say yes, I have ordered large quantities. ::)
Not from New York, though. So that's why I'm thinking it may be state-specific.

It could have been shipping method used - maybe an overland shipment from New York had a greater chance of getting stopped. There's a lot of overland trade between NY and Canada.

I do not mind a AIP Purple Crown or even a AIP Black Crown. I like the AIP bottle for display and the Black Crown has a beautiful deck box.

Hey, new colors are fun and all, but eventually people want something more original, too. If you only have so much dosh to spread around, you go for the unique rather than the repetitive.

That would look really nice! With all the black decks, I think that it would be very refreshing. Although I do agree with Sabacc, I'd rather see something new and original.

Silver on white - nice.
Gold on copper - hard to tell the difference, low contrast.
