Thought I would let you all know about a new deck coming from my sponsor Pokerstud52, the Aladdin Domebacks which is a reprint of a 1930's back design. I don't have any other information nor any pics but I do believe they are coming soon. And remember, for all your playing card needs be sure to check out Pokerstud52 at http://stores.ebay.com/52andjokers (http://stores.ebay.com/52andjokers) and send him a message telling him I (Victor) sent you for a discount on your order.

Very cool! I really like Aladdins! Do these have a number like the other Aladdins do?
-
Is this Vjose32? i think it is, but i would like to see some pictures it sounds cool
-
Yes this is vjose32. For pictures of the vintage decks, check out the links in the thread at unitedcardists! They look really nice but no pics of the new decks yet.
-
Are these the air-cushion Aladdins I've been hearing were coming out?
-
So these will have the same card faces as the 1001s and will come in both red and blue. Red will be released first followed by the blue editions. The decks are being produced this month at the USPCC. Here's a picture of the box showing the back design. Let me know what you think!

Not really a fan of these backs. Nothing beats the back design of the current Aladdins. :)
-
I actually really this back design! I think it is a refreshing look but still remains simple and classy. Plus I'm a big fan of Aladdins so thats another plus for me.
-
Looks great, can't wait.
-
Wow, those backs look really nice! I haven't tried any Aladdins yet, but those look interesting. I'll probably get some. :)
-
These look pretty nice. It's interesting to see a vintage design for something other than Bicycles. I'll be sure to pick them up and expand my Aladdin collection.

I agree. Right now I have all of the Aladdins and I love them (the 1002s being my favorites). There is just something about Aladdins I love (it might be the jokers). I'm really excited for these and I also look forward to expanding my collection a little bit.
As far as I know there are only the 1001s and the 1002s, am I right?
-
At present, aside from these Domebacks, the 1001 and 1002 Aladdins are the only ones around. I think the 1002s are out of production, while the 1001s are being made in Erlanger.
I happen to like the look of these. But what makes the Aladdins such a big deal these days is the performance. I'm interested in seeing how the Air Cushion Finish works with this deck, and if the same stock is being used.
BTW: what stock is used on regular Aladdins that are in production today?

Yeah, just the 1001s and 1002s until these Domebacks come out.

Yeah, it would be really interesting to see how Air Cushion Finish would work with it. I'm guessing that it won't feel like the traditional Aladdins (obviously, as it has a different finish), but I'm pretty sure they'll be okay. And no, sorry, no idea about the stock.

I think I'm going to pass on these. They don't seem like a must have deck.
-
Oh I'm a huge fan of Aladdins so I'm pretty excited about these! There nearly no Aladdin variations so it's nice to see these. I'm planning on picking some up sometime soon, but right now I'm holding off on buying anything.

Probably. When these guys make their own decks, they do often offer them to other sellers at wholesale. The other guy makes a few bucks, you make a few bucks, and the deck gets more exposure and becomes more popular. Everyone wins.
