So how many uncut sheets do you have? Do you collect them just as much as decks? Do you often run out of room and sell them when you find one you like more? Do you wonder why the hell I'm asking all these questions ? Be afraid! Be very afraid!
;D o my god what is he planning
8) Chill dude it's going to be awesome just answer the questions
;D I cant help it, he is making a awesome clip already!
8) Yes, he is...
:-[ I cant handle the hype
8) Die you fan boy
:'( The end...
No seriously I want to know...
-
I have 0. But i have a feeling coming from this question that amazing ideas are happening inside Roberts mind.
-
I currently have 3 but I have 3 more coming in January!
-
I have only 2 and don't plan to purchase more. They are not convenient to display and take up significant space.

Too true. If I had a poker & magic room I would line the walls with framed uncut sheets from my favorite cards, but in any standard household they're a bit of a hassle to own.
-
My dear friend alex, not anymore ;)
-
Currently none. I collect art prints as well so I have ran out of wall space for anything else.
-
i have 2, looking to sell one, so i can buy a couple more to get framed for my room and when im older my MAN CAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I don't have any as of now. I'm getting one of the Revision 1 uncuts which will be awesome! I plan on getting a couple more of decks that I really like. As many have mentioned it is a hassle to display them. For that reason I would shy away from getting quite a few of them
-
Hold up....what do you mean, "not any more", Robert? I own several. I'm having them all framed and hung in the office my wife and I share. I hang my uncuts, signed LPs, and random art pieces from Musicians and Tattoo artists, and she hangs her stories ready to be published. It works out.
-
Lets just say cards clips are cool but I have other things on my mind as well.
-
This sounds interesting, Robert. I'd love to hear more.
And I own none, mainly because of the high price, and the fact that they're purely for display purposes. Part of the reason why I love cards is because I love handling them.
-
Hey Rob...I hate to post this here, but, have you received my last 2 PMs?
-
I don't collect uncuts because of the price and cost for shipping them.
-
I think I know where this is going. ;D
I have limited interest in uncuts, though. IF I had a game room I'd like to have a few on the walls but for now, I have other things to spend on. Like, say, four finished decks of the same design, for the same price. ::)
-
I have three uncut sheets: Bee Stingers , Fulton's Clip Joints, Brimestone.
-
Interesting topic. Like many, I LOVE the concept of the uncut but in practical life I don't have enough wall space to display them well. My card displays and other framed art just take up too much room. I'm considering how many uncuts to get of the Tendril deck and might err on the side of the more limited.
-
Uncuts can be like works of art, but they consume a lot of wall space if you're planning to display them. I own none at present, I have one uncut of Americana coming with my deck shipment, but I'm planning to sell it along with 144 of the 150 decks I'm receiving.

Phwoar, very nice. I missed the Kickstarter for the Americana deck... :(

I'll be posting them for sale, cash only, when they arrive. Keep an eye peeled for them. I'll give Discoursers first crack, then they go on eBay.

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up.

True. They take up a sh*t load of wall space. Also its not like there is an album or clear book readily available where you can just put them in. *bright idea* we should make one and solve that problem. It would be so nice to be able to flip through pages and see all the uncut sheets in ones collection.

They have those at some stores to pick out a poster that you want to buy but I think it would be pretty awesome if someone had one for their uncut sheets!

There's no reason why a poster display rack from a store wouldn't work for displaying uncut sheets, but the problems are how much protection do they actually offer and where would you go about finding one. Also, the plastic used to enclose the posters isn't usually good quality even just for seeing through - I think retailers use this to their advantage when selling low-quality posters...
-
i have 2 uncut sheets.

That's a pretty expensive solution, but it's there.
There's nothing keeping you from trying to make one though! It would be awesome if someone came up with a nice cost-effective method for building those. ;)
Can't be that hard...

$130 for 20 sheets. I would guess it doesn't get much cheaper than that.

I own v.6 uncut, Green Crown uncut, Red Crown v.2 uncut, 2 Chinatown uncuts (Which one will be for sale/trade) so all together I own 5. I do not collect them too much though, just sparingly...Like stated above, they take up room for sure...I have them all in the tubing but plan to get them framed eventually, once I find a place/room for them.

When you have enough scratch, do what Moon.exe suggested. You'd be able to hang a LOT of uncut sheets in a very small space, then maybe frame a few of the nicer ones for wall hanging. Then you could really get into collecting uncuts.
