Hey guys, I just got a Porper Clip roughly 2 weeks ago, and had always been using them to store my bikes. I usually can fit 52 cards snugly before the deck gets stuck in the clip. Recently, I tried putting in my week-old Tally Ho's in the clip and had a really hard time getting them out. I placed 52 cards too. Does my clip need more 'breaking in' or is it due to the dirt and grit in the cards? Do your Tally Ho's fit into your clip? Thanks in advance!

Not too sure but all my old decks seems to be thicker then new decks
-
what card clip is that ?regular or ?
-
Yeah, its a regular card clip.
-
could be the cards are just too thick or that the clip itself is dirty. i find with my regular porper clip when deck start to get stuck its because of dirt and seal residue on the inside of the clip.

I see. Thanks ! How did you clean it? Just with a damp cloth? Thanks in advance:D

If it's a pretty old deck, the deck itself is significantly thicker than new decks. It's true, take an old deck and a new one, and put them side by side, and you will see that the old one is thicker than the new one. Because of the use, air now gets in between the cards and they rise slightly. That's probably why the deck is more difficult to maneuver. Good Luck with your problem!

After using a deck a good amount, it gets worn out, and the cards get thicker. They get dirt on them, humidity gets to them, etc.
Theres no way to really fix it. Just use a different deck! ;)

Hey guys, Thanks for all the help! I shall try cleaning my Porper Clip and placing a new Tally Ho when I get some more. Thanks once again!

Another thing to bear in mind is that even when brand-spanking new, Bicycles aren't as thick as Tally Ho decks. Additional breaking in might be required, and it's better to "stretch" the clip with an older Tally deck first than a new one.

last time a deck review guy mention that when he put deck with seal in a porper clip and when taking them out there will be residue (i know someone already mention it ) so you can clean it with a cloth or if you dun want just put a deck with no seal might help i am not quite sure

So do you suggest I put in my week-long Tally Ho's in the clip for a day or two to break in the clip? Thanks for the help by the way!

But I cut the deck seal according to the finger flap. I don't think that any seal residue on the clip. Hmmm.... But thanks anyway!

Give it a shot. Don't "bury" the deck too deep into the clip - it'll be hard to extract and you don't wanna ruin the deck.
