Ellusionist have posted some info on their facebook page, basically until midnight on saturday you will now recieve 2 LTD Decks instead of 1, pretty sweet for those who haven't bought them already. I'm more tempted than I was now but it's still going to cost too much me thinks. Here's what it says on the website:

''Get TWO (2) Free LTD Decks as a FREE GIFT in qualifying orders only until Saturday night at Midnight ET. After that, only 1 free LTD with be given with qualifying orders SO DOUBLE UP NOW!''

I noticed this as well. Now I am quite tempted to get my order in and I most likely would if I did not have to pay $30+ for shipping. Who knows, I will probably end up changing my mind numerous times before saturday anyway

Awwh man. Now I'm really tempted. I promised my mom I wouldn't ask for her card for a while, so sadly I won't be able to do this. Maybe later in the year they will have this same deal.

Also, this kinda sucks for people like Austin, EZ, and Alex, who shelled out a lot of money just to get one (or in Austin's case 3).

Wait, what? This is ridiculous, I made over $1,000 in purchases from them, and many others made huge orders as well. The way they thank these supporters is by saying "screw you, people that order late get twice the stuff!"

Yeah I actually placed multiple orders to get three LTD decks. I could have spent $300 and received FOUR, but I payed them over $1,000 and received...three.

I love how someone who doesn't support them very much gets extra swag, while the hardcore collectors and fans get swindled out of swag. (That has an awesome ring to it though) *sigh*

If your order email stated you get one, I think you only get one. Best way to get a definitive answer: contact Jennifer in E customer service.

Guys, this is no different than when they run specials on giving Gold Arcanes for $75 orders. They don't give a heads-up in advance on that either, right? It sucks if you bought earlier, but it's no different than when you buy a car and a month later the price gets slashed to less than what you paid.

If this makes you unhappy, contact Jennifer, as I stated above. E is known for listening to customers.

This is very different than the Gold Arcane offering, since Gold Arcanes are NEVER in the "Free Gift" section for limited amounts of time.

This is what the situation is actually like, if you want to make a Gold Arcane comparison:

Ellusionist: "For a limited time, get a Gold Arcane with every purchase over $75 now through the end of the month! These decks will not be available in any way outside of promotional items after that." Naturally, everyone makes the purchase ASAP, there is no reason to wait.

Three weeks later: "Get TWO Gold Arcanes with every purchase over $75, only for a few days though!"

Do you see how those of us that made a purchase on a limited time promotion feel cheated? How about my Black Friday Vortex deal? I didn't say "only people that pledge this week" because that would cheat my early supporters in a VERY big way. My product would get kicked to the curb very quickly.

I've already slated Ellusionist and their handling of the LTD deck situation in a different thread. I think everyone who only received 1 deck have every right to be pissed.

It does seem that E is doing it's damnedest to piss of all it's customers.

I placed two orders today: four LTDs and a Black Ghost 1st Ed.

An interesting thought just occurred to me.

With the current special, people will be flocking to E to place orders, people who've been hesitating for whatever reason. But there's also those who'll just want to snatch extra LTD decks.

Which means the aftermarket will be flooded with them in about a week.

Which means the eBay market price will DROP.

Which means those of you who wanted an LTD deck without spending another $150 on E merch now have a golden opportunity coming up in the next few days...

Okay so I caved in and placed an order for about $150, shipping was a killer at $58.90 but I'm pretty pleased I didn't put this order in a few days earlier as I was very tempted but ideally I wanted 2 decks and they've managed to suck me in with this offer.

Just a heads up for anyone in the UK looking at buying any Infinity decks but dont want to order from Ellusionist or from the USA because of shipping costs, to get my order up to $150 I ordered 21 x Infinitys so when they get here I'll be listing most of them if not all of them on ebay. Not sure of the price yet but when they get here I'll let you guys know, I'll keep it as cheap as I can, I dont expect to make it all back but some of what I've spent. I've attached a pic of my order so you can see what I got if your at all interested. Along with trying to sell the Infinitys I might have to sell some other decks from my collection if I dont sell many Infinitys, again I'll you know what and when, I paid for UPS Saver 1-3 Biz days shipping but I wont hold my breath for it to come that quick. Yeah I agree, shipping is so expensive but it's either this way or ebay and although the price wont be $150 for one you might have to pay $70ish for the one deck and you only get the one deck.

Yeh, saw your post, I could use MAGIC10 because it stated I used it already but I found another, CARDCACTUS, also gave me 10% off and so I added 2 more infinitys and a Red Bike.

Your probably right. It wouldn't surprise me if they made the deal even sweeter as it gets closer to the holiday. As much as I wanna get the 2 LTD decks and also the Black Ghost 1st edition, I just dont really need anything at the moment. The only thing if anything would be to stock up on bricks of cards. I dont need any DVDs or tricks at the moment. I have plenty that I am working on. So, I'm still debating what to do before this deal ends tonight at midnight.

My suggestion is you take it. I have a strong feeling the deal won't get sweeter. At most, it will drop to $75 for one deck, which is arguably worse if you want two, because it requires you to pay shipping twice. :-X

Wow Knobz - crazy purchase. Say, how much did it charge for shipping, because it must have been killer. What do you do with bricks anyway. A brick in my house will at least last a month.

Shipping was about $21. So not too bad. I just basically stock up. That way I always have some when I need them. For Christmas I am getting a cabinet to store and display my cards in. Once I get it I will post some picks of my collection for you guys.

Which problem was that?

I know PayPal occasionally has trouble with overseas accounts. I don't know if this is still true, but some years back they had entire countries they refused to accept new accounts from.

I tried to use paypal to pay for the Blue crown once, but it doesn't accept. So I gotta use credit card number.

So, ask why the order was canceled. Perhaps you can prevent the same thing happening in the future.

I have a debit card as my primary on PayPal. So whether it draws straight off my checking or off the debit card, the money comes from the same place. In fact, if they use my debit card, I get reward points!

I never really use the points anyway. Earlier this year I traded nearly all of them to send $250 to the Japanese Red Cross after the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster. That's one trifecta that I'd never want to win...

Anyway - we're really getting off topic here. Did anyone ELSE take advantage of the two-day two-fer deal on the LTD decks? What did you get? Would you have placed your order if there was no two-fer being offered?

I live in BC and have my bank account hooked up to my paypal. You simple just have to follow the steps shown they have on their website. I waited until I was 18 years old to link my account because I have read some bad stories of people getting their accounts frozen because they said they were over 18 and were not. Its, up to you but I did not think it was worth the risk. Now that I have my own credit card, I make 99% of my purchases on that to build my credit rating anyway.
