Just stumbled upon this on youtube, it's not a review, but still. Could this be the first time anyone have owned a Blood Metal deck?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX6KChhBSNI

For those who want to jump to see the deck itself, it's at 4:50.

Anyway, does this mean there will be a truly limited supply available in the future?

Devo said they will be released soon.
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

De'vo asked people to film their initial reactions to the Pro Cardistry deck and the videos he liked, he would send a Blades Blood Metal deck which is how this guy got his.

De'vo said he'd be selling them once the problem with them was fixed.

I think it was meant more for collectors than to really use. But a gilded deck that handles well would be nice.

I have been keeping up with De'vo and this deck. He said that after some breaking in, this deck handles well. It is the same stock and finish as the regular Bloods.

And should we believe him? I've never seen such a clumpy deck handle well afterwards.

Most gilded decks are not with a quality stock and finish as these were. But in all honesty, are we really going to use a gilded deck to perform with? These are to be collected.

Gilded decks are generally made with the same stock and finishes as the non-gilded versions - they're just painted along the edges with metallic paint.  The only way to really "break in" a gilded deck is to loosen up the bonds between the cards (a.k.a. handling the cards until enough of the gilding flakes off), but in the end they just end up looking like a mess and still handling poorly.

Sinsandman is right - this isn't a performer's deck.  In my opinion, such decks aren't even players' decks.  They're playing cards for people who like pretty, shiny things but don't like to play cards often.
