  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

This isn't a traditional deck for this crowd, but you have to admit, the artwork looks pretty cool as well as right on theme.

I think tarot decks are cool, the art is crazy and the majority have cool backs. They're just too large for me to enjoy properly.

This particular deck looks very nice

They are just cards used for certain games. It is said some people can foresee the future by reading the cards and symbols as well,

I have never seen a game plays with tarot. Not calling you a liar, maybe I am just ignorant to tarot's other uses? This deck has some nice art, very neat.
Magical as Sin!

Tarot cards are used only to make predictions and foresee the future.

Well at my high school, when I would walk passed the Italian Pizza club (wierd name but they sold pizza at October Fest), I would always see them play games with what appeared to be tarot cards and talk about chicks

Actually, there is a game called Tarot. My family plays it all the time.

OK, we're getting a wee bit off topic, but yes, there are games that use four suits and a Major Arcana like a traditional tarot deck, but those cards are a little more stripped down in design to allow them to be more functional in a card game.

Here's a hand from French tarot game deck - it uses the modern suits of hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds, but it also has a Major Arcana indexed in Roman numerals to allow them to be held "squeezer-style" in a card hand.  Note the use of "R" for roi (king), "V" for valet (attendant) and "C" for chevalier (horseman, or knight).  In a modern 52-card deck, these two cards are reduced to the one value, "Jack".  It's why someone who was versatile and could do the jobs of the valet and the horseman was considered a jack-of-all-trades...
