Looks like it's in pre-order stage and will be released on April 1st. Don't worry about April Fool's. Asians aren't into that kind of thing.

I'm not a huge fan of it so far. The box looks bland. I don't want to judge it too quickly but so far it doesn't seem like a whole lot of effort was put into this.

I'm sure that's an oversight!

Looking at a Google Translated version of the page, it's selling for 800 yen (approx. US$8) and only 5,000 were made.  Sales begin April 1, but you appear to be able to pre-order - no mention of international shipping.

It might be a good idea to get friendly with a Japanese member of the board, or at least one residing in Japan, and make a deal to get some.

Have you tried running the page through Google Translate?  It doesn't work as well with Japanese sites, but it's worth a shot at the least.

Haha these are cool, very hipster Since hearts and diamonds are the same, that was probably a mistake. I love the blue recoloring!

The difference @cji1321's point at is the colour of the words "Poker 808" and "Playing Cards" towards the bottom of the tuckbox.
Gold edition for purchasing over JPY8,400 (approx. $100USD) and regular white edition that could be directly purchased? Mmm..someone needs to confirm this...

Wasn't sure if I should create an all new post for this, but there was an issue with the company I had ordered a brick from in Japan and I did not receive what I had ordered... Thus, I only have a few decks available and I am offering them up on eBay... I cannot order them from the company I ordered them from because they are sold out... Amazon Japan and New Era Japan are also sold out... Those of you who feel that you are able to get them for a lot less please let me know because I have been trying for days to no avail... Thanks... And if you are still interested on getting a deck while you still can then feel free to bid... From what I understand they are nonexistent in the States right now... Take care... -J.

I'm in the process of cutting a deal with someone in Japan, a trade for these and a few others, but it's for a personal quantity, not a trade quantity.  In the long run it would likely cost me less, though shipping to Japan for trades ain't cheap.

Lol it's three @jmrock. I'm not sure if the gold one's gonna turn up any time soon. The promotion started at the end of Feb, but I haven't seen anywhere that has showed signs of it being resold by New Era customers. This could be a long wait, and needs some good search to spot even one.
