This deck will be on Kickstarter tomorrow!

From UC:

"A new Bicycle Spectrum deck is in the works. This is a true rainbow deck, in that the 808 Rider backs are printed in a full color spectrum, one unique color per card! When the cards are spread, a beautiful color rainbow spectrum appears before your eyes. The box is pure eye candy.

I have no vested interest in this other than as a collector who had heard about this fantastic deck. It is truly unique, and not only is it collectable; it also has a number of clever magic applications.

The designer is putting it out through the Kickstarter site. However, I have heard that its production is not dependent on Kickstarter funding. That is, the designer has already placed a paid order with the USPC Co., meaning that the decks will definitely be available within the next couple months to Kickstarter backers.

This is definitely one of the best multicolored/rainbow decks I've seen!! I really like the uncut and the cards looks really nice. Overall this is really cool, I'll be sure to back for a couple of these!! It's nice that the wait won't be too long either. Thanks for the info CBJ!!

I don't like the box either.
But the deck is cool. I would get 2 or 3...
These would be cool as gaff cards for a regular rider back deck and would make for some cool color changes!
Are the fronts of the cards different colors?

That's a good question. It'll be cool if all the fronts were different colors, but that would probably get too confusing. So I bet it's standard. It's says by the uncut "exclusive kickstarter poster" so is it not an uncut? There's a huge difference between a poster and an uncut $:-\$

Yeah, I agree with you guys. I don't like the tuckbox, but I love the idea of all the backs being different colours. No doubt I'll pledge for at least one copy of this deck.

So just found out these are Bicycle stock with Magic Finish. I know many people were probably wondering and I just found out so I thought I would share it with you all. I don't really care too much but many magicians and flourishers do, so I thought you would all like to know.

And as a deck on its own, you shuffle it once and you got a nice big mess on your hands, which would be annoying. Looks cool in proper order and each card could be used in effects of various kinds. I'm guessing that with them not showing the faces at all, they are probably standard. Since my 4 year old daughter is always bugging me for "rainbow cards" I guess I'll have to pick one up.

The cards look awesome from what I've seen and I'm really looking forward to this unique deck.

Not really good for playing poker... But nice to add to the collection... Don't usually critique, but the spade on the box should have been kept closer to the original... count me in...

I hear there will be two Ace of Spades in the deck. One like the one pictured on the front of the box and one classic riderback AoS with a random design.

Just talked with Coz and he said it was cool if I shared the pictures, so here ya go!

I know I'm really loving the look of the deck! What do you all think?

Hey all, I was surprised to see this thread pop up so quickly!

I won't be butting in much here, but I thought I'd answer a question that seems to have come up often already...

The pics above, (someone snagged from the video's I guess?) show the POSTER, NOT the uncut sheet.
I made the poster for myself and several people wanted one (not even card people) so I decided on making some posters.

YES there will be uncut sheets!
And they are laid out pretty much the same so they look pretty cool (imho).

Funny about the box! The biggest and most compliments I've gotten so far are for the box, from the folks who've seen it and the art dept at USPCC went out of their way to tell me that it's one of their faves!

It's great info to hear what you all think! SERIOUS food for thought!!!

No worries! It's good feedback! The ball's already rolling at USPCC but I still have time to adjust if I find it's necessary.

By the way, I hand made a deck similar to this over 10 years ago, they weren't a nice spectrum, and the mish-mash of colors (should you mix them etc) actually looks very cool too.

Well I'm tempted to talk more about the fine tuning I've done over the past couple of months, regarding deck order etc, but I'll leave it til the launch.

I'm very excited about this I've been wanting to do this for soooooo long! So forgive me if I toot my horn a little loud!

Oh sorry, one more thing...

The deck comes with a standard Ace too, except that the spade is "spectrum" colored. The back of it fits the spectrum right where the traditional bike blue would go so you can replace it with an AS from any blue deck and it works perfectly. Again those details and more will be discussed/revealed in the details after the launch.

sorry, not sure about the time... unfortunately there's a snag in the final steps to get the amazon account set up (I'll spare you the details) I had to fax things and instead of insant I am awaiting the verification which is being done manually. I have a work around but it could take up half the day tomorrow... then back to the computer to reset it up with amazon... I'll try and keep you posted.
