Ever since I first watched Bill Malone's performance of Sam The Bellhop, it instantly became one of my favorite magic tricks from a spectators point of view. I own Bill's DVD's and VHS's that are from his performances in Tahoe and they are incredible to watch and learn from. His false cuts and shuffles as amazing.

I recently found a link to a video of an Australian magician performing his rendition of it on Ellen. It is not brand new, so some of you may have seen it, but if not take a look and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Playing Card Plethora / Black Crown deck error?

I finally returned home today after being at the ski hill for the last week and was able to open my package from the Blue Crown, and receive my 3 black crown decks! Taking a quick look at them I realized one had a small error with it. In one of the decks the tuck box opening flap is tucked in behind one of the cards in the deck.




Has anyone else experienced this? I am not complaining, I actually prefer to have one of my decks have something a bit unusual with it, makes a better story and my collection a bit more unique. :D

I will also say that the packaging of the decks was impecable and the free deck seals were a nice gift. Big props to the fellows over at BC. Thanks, I could not be happier with my purchase.

Shipping will roughly cost about $15 international and will take about a week and a half to arrive. ( based on previous experience )

All decks are sealed and in mint condition

Just letting everyone know that my next week is going to be quite busy.... I have to prepare for 3 finals at the end of next week and since the ski hills just opened up I am hoping to at least get a few good days up on them as well. I still should be able to pop in the discourse hopefully once a day or two....but it will mostly be just to get rid of spam. If anyone is in desperate need of talking to me... just send me a PM, I can view those pretty easy on my phone since it comes to my email.

I have one of the rare Gold Monarch decks for sale or trade. Here is a picture of them ( Ignore the Fantastique, its the only picture I have right now ).

I really do not care if I end up selling the deck or not, but am willing to take offers if anyone has them. If you wanted to buy the deck outright, I would be looking in the ~$100 range ( Plus shipping ). I will ship anywhere in the world.


I can provide pictures of the order receipt to prove they were bought on the October 31st release if you do not trust me for some reason. :(

So, What do you guys want for Christmas/Holidays? Card/Magic related or not.

Others have been sort of talking about their lists in other threads so we might as well start one. If you have cards on your list, say which ones, and maybe why, not simply just saying cards and/or magic tricks

My list is pretty small, like it usually is, but here are a couple thing I want.

1. HD HERO2 GoPro videocamera

I really would like to have it for this winter to make snowboarding videos with my friends and other random videos I may make.

2. Winter Jacket

The Reason is kind of self explanatory, to stay warm, but I have not picked out which one yet, or even a colour I would like it to be. I is just my old winter jacket is pretty worn out and I would like a new one for this season at Big White ( my local ski resort )
