Did anyone else order during the Cyber Monday sale they had? It took almost a month to get my order and then they forgot my free items. I spent $266 and they want me to pay again for shipping the bonus items because they said I forgot to order them, even though I chose my items and seen them in my cart during checkout. That's unbelievable. I spend enough money with them for them to do this.  >:(

I agree that them wanting you to pay for postage again, if you did add the extra items to your order, is a bit insane. In your Ellusionist account, where it shows your orders, are the bonus items listed? Because the order history should show if you did add the items to your cart or not.

Edit: moved to Talk Park since it's not a specifically playing card related topic

I didn't order on the Cyber Monday sale, but ordered a bit afterwards and still not "items have shipped e-mail" 'cause they took care of domestic orders for everything first. I was extremely disappointed that an order placed no December 5th has gotten me nothing at all. I think they've dropped the ball on this pretty hard.

I ordered cyber Monday, just got my stuff Friday.  Love single needle routine.
Starting to get better...have to stay dedicated...can't lose any more cards in the middle of a trick.  Literally, completely lost a card.

They were pretty quick to own up to that, the thing that annoys me is that I tried to cancel my order (Because I knew it wasn't going to be here my xmas and some of the items were meant as presents) and they wouldn't let me.

Yeah, you're right. They owned up to that and even had pictures of Brad Christian, on their Facebook page, helping out at the warehouse shipping.

That last part of not letting you cancel is pretty bad. I think any company should let you cancel your order with a valid reason.

I get that they're super swamped with a ton of orders, but personally I'm still way disappointed on how things are handled. Obviously, I don't know how Theory11's Black Friday orders compared, but I remember my order shipped out within a week after placing the order and really had no issues at all.

t11s order went very smooth. Shipped right away with not problems for me.

Curt: I did not see it in my Ellusionist account order. I'm not really sure what happened...

It seems they are finally trying to make amends on the situation. They are offering me a free rare deck with my shipment.

One of the following:
Gold Arcane
Red Arcane
LTD
LTD White
Scarlet Dealers
Scarlet Rounders
Blue Rounders
Red Artifice
Black Artifice
Sultan Treasury

I have most of them except the BlackArtifice, RedArtifice, and the Madison Decks which im not that interested in.

Which one should I pick? The red or black artifice?

Scarlet Rounders are what I would take.

Obviously this is completely preferential, but I would take the Red Artifice. Of Ellusionist's "rare" decks, I find them to be my favorite aside from the original Red LTDs. The Artifice deck has sublime artwork and the red metallic inks pop beautifully and the deck is truly aesthetically pleasing.

While all of the listed decks are rare, only Black Club members are able to get the Artifice Black Club Apex Edition deck, and only in limited quantities at that.  Red Artifice, while rare, do occasionally pop up in contests and giveaways.  If you're already a Black Club member and/or don't care about that deck, get the Red - otherwise, bet on Black!

Having said that, just as E ran out of the Bicycle Black Ghost 1st Edition (their first rare, premium deck), it's likely they're very low on the Gold Arcane (their second rare, premium deck) as well.  It's only a matter of time before they're all gone.  It's the oldest of the rare decks available from them and after the blowout last year, quantities were reportedly very low on ALL of the rare decks that were in release at the time.  This would also include the Red Artifice (their third rare, premium deck - and the first offered for sale, with 3,000 going out the door in the first 24 hours) and the LTD (their fourth rare, premium deck).  I'd wager that for the Gold Arcane and the Red Artifice, available quantities are well under 1,000 for each deck.

I think you misunderstood.  He commented that MDCasino should pick the Red Artifice from the list of decks he was offered, seeing as how the Black Artifice, a.k.a. Artifice Black Club Apex Edition, is still available on E's website if you join the Black Club.

That has me wondering...  When you renew your Black Club membership, will they offer you another ABCAE deck, just as one would receive it if they were starting a new membership?

Ah...My mistake. I thought he meant red artifice AND black artifice were still available.

I don't think i have seen it anywhere but E did not put a limit on how many black artifice it will print? So i guess as long as there are members, there will be black artifice in the market. Though i did not know prices on ebay rose so quickly...6 months back and people are selling it at $25 a deck.

"Admission to the Black Club Store is reserved for members only. This is an annual membership... each year your renewal of membership will bring additional exclusive gifts to your doorstep. "

Not too sure, but they did say renewal will bring additional exclusive gifts.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the renewal gift this year is a Gold Artifice deck?

I believe Jake said that they were limited "both distribution and print run". I.E smaller print run, limit to 3 black club decks per person (1 in the welcome pack, 2 available in the shop).

...and there was a promo last holiday season to get an EXTRA deck, bringing the possible total to four from E directly.

The only definitive statement that was made about the Black Club deck was that it would only be available to members, period.  No giveaways, premiums, contest prizes, etc. unless they are targeted strictly to BC members.  Since I doubt they racked up more than a few hundred members as opposed to thousands, it stands to reason there's some decks remaining.

A possibility: They'll switch BC renewals to the Gold Artifice deck and make the Black Club deck a contest prize or purchase premium for the club only, and only on a limited basis now and then.
