Just finished watching a show about how certain foods are made. Oikos Greek yogurt was the subject. During the show it was said that they produce 1,000,000 cups of yogurt per day. That blew my mind. I don't think most people can comprehend how big, big business' are.

Kind of puts our conversations about run sizes of card decks in perspective. I wonder what a daily run of standard Bikes are?
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Closest I could find to an annual output of decks (all brands) is "hundreds of millions".  Doesn't sound terribly accurate, though.  If it was merely a single "hundred million", they're producing in the ballpack of 333,000 packs of Bicycles a day.  Their staff is 750 people, so I'd question if they have the people power to do it, especially when you factor in that the annual revenue, at least for 2003, was $130 million.  Numbers after that are harder to come by because on '04 it was absorbed into Jarden.  Peeking at the Jarden '07 annual report, they don't appear to break out numbers by subsidiary company, though I'm certain they do so internally in order to know what companies are producing well and which should be considered for sell-off.
