Dr. Leon is Hiro Sakai, a prominent Japanese magician and trick inventor as well as a one-time FISM Championships judge.  His deck has an elegant "L" design on the back which conceals a hidden one-way mark.  The deck has USPC standard faces and comes in an easy-on-the-eyes black and a my-eyes-they're-melting-it-burns-my-brain-make-it-stop yellow!  Trying to find the one-way mark on the yellow deck is probably the reason I need to wear glasses now!  :))

Toto is only known by that one name, as far as I could find out.  He's well known as a magician and entertainer who makes good use of sound and music in his shows.  As you've surely guessed, he runs a bar in the Ginza district of Tokyo, one of several "magic bars" in that area, and a night there with food and entertainment will run in the ballpark of about US$50 per person depending on what you order, according to one recent patron.  His deck (custom back, USPC standard faces) has long been available in black, and a red model was recently released.

Voters who comment on their choice are entered in a random drawing for forum swag - see this topic for the rules.

To me, they're so similar that it's hard to differentiate between them.  The Dr. Leon deck does have an ingenious one-way mark, but that yellow is practically radioactive - use them in the sunshine and you're liable to kill someone.  Based on that alone I'd go with the Toto's Bar decks - I own the black but not the red, yet.

Two very unknown decks!

MrMollusk was the one who suggested this match-up - where the hell is his vote?!?  :))

Well, MrMollusk, thank you for that, ahem, "popular" deck battle selection.

So, Dr. Leon wins, two to one.

Three comments, two of which came from moderators/administrators.  Brownmagician, I'm giving it to you by default.  Seems to be my precedent for battles with only one voting non-staffer.  Also saves me the bother of running the drawing!

New contest only moments away...
