So after a very long time of sitting on mod applications, our first selection is Don Boyer, who has shown the most consistency out of all the applicants. Because of that, and his dedication to the board, he's taking over STISO's duties. Not that I have been keeping this board organized lately, but that's just further proof that a mod was needed ASAP.

Welcome aboard, Don!

For the rest of you applicants, keep an eye out for a few more promotions and opportunities. We still need moderators for The Talk Park, Intros, and the upcoming Deck Review board. I've made up my mind on a few other selections, so watch out for the next promotion soon! :)

Congratz Don!! I am sure you will do an awesome job!! :)
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

Thanks, gang!  I will wield my power only for the forces of goodness and light...  :))

I just locked all sales topics that have been untouched for four weeks.  If you're running a topic and your sale or trade is over, please, help yourself and lock that topic down.  Conversely, if you still need to have a final word or two, go right ahead and reopen a closed topic with my blessing.

I'll be introducing a new test concept: auction selling.  We've had one so far and it seems to have gone fine.  I'm going to draft some rules for conducting auctions through the STISO board on a test basis and we'll see if people like both the ideas and the ground rules.  If anyone has some ideas or questions about this, comment away in the new sticky topic I'll be posting shortly.

Above all - I'm here to help.  If you're n00b or not-so-n00b, doesn't matter - if you need a hand putting together a STISO post that will be appealing and accurate, I'm volunteering to assist anyone who PM's a request.

And don't forget - Alex does offer PREMIUM SERVICES to help your sale stand out above the rest!

Congratulation Don, you deserve it !!
I must say... to seller here " don't sell D&D product here or Don will delete it ...hahahahahahaha !!! :P

We at the STISO board do not discriminate, regardless of our personal opinions of a company or its products...   8)

Congrats Don on this promotion. You definitely deserved it. However I noticed that on some posts Don's status appears as if he weren't a mod... ?

I'm a mod when I'm in my own "sandbox," the STISO board.  Think of this as my secret identity...

Living here, and rent-free no less...and yes, after a mere thirty-hundred-some-odd posts...

Thanks again, one and all!

Alex, Don, don't you think it would look cooler in another color (blue, pink...)? I think it would, and that way you and CBJ wouldn't have the same color.

In my opinion, the color differentiation between the moderators on this forum works quite well how it is now. Having different color to denote, Staff, Admin, Discourse Mods, and Omni mods, makes it easier to new members of the Discourse to understand who is who. To have a different color for each mod would be fun and make it a bit more unique but I would just worry about new people joining the forum and getting confused what the colors mean.

Oh, I didn't realize that's how it works... Oops. And what is the difference between Omni mod, Staff and Discourse Mod?

I'll take a stab at this one...

Administrator - Alex.  "There can be only one..."  :))
Staff - "Hey, don't look at me, I just work here."  Doesn't moderate, but does other stuff for Aether.
Discourse Moderator - like me.  I moderate a board.
Omni-Moderator - moderates ALL boards.
