Didn't you post this in another thread already? I'm not sure why you have to open up another thread for opinions.

because i htought rather than like make an ace for this deck desighn then a back desighn for another deck i htought if i think of a deck the next bit of that deck i would add the the thread thats just about that one if that makes sense or am i better just putting all desighns into one thread ?

Wow lol I couldn't understand that at all. Say what?
Maybe try to use punctuations and correct spellings. I'm having a hard time trying to understand. >.<

haha i tried i dont know how to use them

i meant rather than have one thread of muddled desighns each time i think of a deck i would post a new thread then if or when i continue the desighn for that deck i would add it to the one thats just for that deck

Oh lol okay. I get what you're saying now.
Then maybe try to edit the title and let people know these designs are for two separate decks. You'll probably want to post the picture once too, otherwise people would think you want to use the same design for two decks.

Don't know how to use...punctuations? @.@ Isn't that the first thing you learn in English class? I've also noticed that a lot of the times your "h" and "n" come out together, like "desighn".

I  think you could have a grew design but your designs are um... sloppy in a way. You wouldn't actually put that exact artwork on a card right? It has to be put in the perfect shape like any other ace of spades.

The biggest problem is how dark the drawings are. I can see no detail and it's hard to see what you are trying to convey in the sketches. Try drawing on white paper to start. After that it'll be easier to give good feedback

Like brown_baggs said, it's hard to identify the details to these drawings. It's somewhat hard on the eyes.

If you're not using white paper, maybe at least use photoshop or even the windows photo editor to adjust the contrast a little? I could barely see anything besides the yellow outline (diamond and square).

i draw on white i just used to prefer black but i just redrew it on white in more detail haha i tend to forget when i scrible somthing down only i can see the vision of what it can be ill keep adding detail when i have time

paint tools and phtoshop somtime somtimes corel and z brush if i want it mirrored

haha thank you yep when im like in the first stages the messy sketchy look alows me to be more bold then when i want it clean and deatiled phtoshop comes in and thats the tediouse long bit ill finish this in photo shop to show you what i mean or well half do it to give you an idea it will take long haha also i like the messy panted blurry look but it wouldnt look nice on a deck haha

if you look at the top irght vine with the thorns it will end up like that but more detailed but you get the idea and my process it takes long its to do its just me cklicking the mouse and drwaing lines and filling them in and more lines and shapes haha its the lasso tool pencil and paint bucket ^^

heres more of my artwork so you see my style

This one looks great with the colouring! Now I could see some details! I'm looking forward to one of those completed designs with all the details and everything photoshopped. Good luck!

Not just yet because it's just a basic sketch right? But I'm sure it's getting there.
I personally prefer black deck but that's just me.

As of this point I REALLY enjoy the spade and the diamond. This is Avery promising start, and if you keep this up, I will really like it.

The only thing that is weird for me is that the diamond is yellow, so it won't match the other cards.

That heart looks really good!! I like the style. It'd be nice to see a mock up of one of the cards so that I can envision it as a deck instead of a drawing. Ya know what I mean? It's looking better though! Nice work

would you all like me to design one back and then people can tell me what bits they like and what bits they don't or make a few back designs and you vote on one and then i can work more into that

From the designs I've seen, I think I would like to see this as a white deck. But I think you should post pics of it on black and then on white.

I like the V2 of the Ace of Hearts better. My only problem with it is that it looks like a face and it bugs me lol.

awesome I'm glad people liking the progression ha ha does everyone have that problem should i take the nose away or something ?

I actually prefer this over the yellow one. There hasn't been a whole lot of decks on purple. Of the two, I'd choose the later, for its contrast.

awesome ill put a poll up weather to have purple instead of yellow hearts and diamond's purple and spades and clubs yellow in the spaces where theres not much happening I'm going to have a cool like paters shining through like light does that sound cool ? purple would be nice on a black deck ^^

Just don't fall into the Tattoo Deck trap - don't make a four suit-color deck!  They're not easy for many solitaire games and decks that are too far from the standard don't generally sell as well.  The only practical four suit-color decks I've seen are the super/jumbo/low-vision decks for people with eye problems, to make the suits easier for them to distinguish - but even many of those still also have the traditional black-red pips as well on each card.

is there too many colours on them now or do they seem ok would you prefer it more plain ? like the pic under should i go for just two diffrent colours or yellow for 2 and black for 2 or just standard ?

You can change the traditional red and black to two different colors - the most common way to do this would be the lighter color is the swap for red, unless it's a black deck.  I'm talking about the use of four DIFFERENT colors, one for each suit.  Great for old people who have trouble distinguishing suits, but a bit ugly and very difficult to use for most solitaire games.  Poker players normally wouldn't touch those with a ten-foot pole.

oh no i didn't mean that when i say blue and cream for clubs and spades i mean both the spades and clubs will be both blue and cream they ll only be 2 colours for suits or it would get crazy ha ha i mean like the edges of the yellow are red so both hearts and diamonds would be that same yellow and red colour

Interesting concept, but it'll be relatively more expensive to print so many colours on a deck. But I do like the design right now.

True, but no more so than if he were making any other fully-custom deck.  Full-custom decks see to be pretty popular these days - the next Blue Crown deck, Vaudeville, will be a full-custom job, and aside from the LTD., it's been a while since E released a deck that wasn't full-custom.  People have been busting on Dan and Dave as well as T11 for, among other things, rarely releasing full-custom decks.

The point of all that being: a full-custom deck would sell better and faster than one that isn't, as long as it's a quality job from start to finish.

hopefully everyone will love the deck haha ill put the same quality into every aspect and with the feedback from people here it should be awesome hopefully it will do well on kickstarter and i can keep designing full custom decks if people take a liking to this one

Interesting Joker... it's cool but not something I'd like on a deck of cards. I think you should keep working on the Joker.

I've been thinking about it and thinking about it - I finally figured it out.  Your heart design bears a strong resemblance to the "lion-faced spade" on the Ace from the White Lions deck!

I would show you a picture from David Blaine's site, but it appears that all products were pulled!  There's zero items listed for sale!  No decks, no AIP bottles, no t-shirts, no caps, no posters - nothing.

EDIT: found an image on the Playing Cards Wiki:

Are you sure?  They've been sold out of White Lions for some time now.  They had the White Lions "Anything is Possible" bottle still for sale, but they were down to their last 19 or so.

Mmm I don't think you should've showed your private messages in public. It's between you and the other member. Letting us know the content is more than enough already. Just to keep a little privacy for others. :)

There used to be 2 white lions sets for $25 but now when I went to his site there is no products at all.
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

Sorry, I hate to be a downer but I'm not a fan of this joker either. But don't make me the one that makes you change your designs... if everyone else likes it, go with it. And in the end, its your deck so it should be how you like it.

Looks a bit nightmarish.  If that's the look you were shooting for, you hit the target in the bull's-eye.

I recommend a body, or at least a change in the shape of the head.  The more I look at the shape, the more I think it resembles a vagina.

My first thought is that the back design looks like the first designs of the Aurum deck.
