Thank you!
I have a Canon SX10IS and love it. But I am hoping to move up to a more professional camera in April. I've been looking at the Canon T3i but haven't decided on anything yet.

You can't go wrong with Canon. I use an older Olympus camera, but I'll get a Canon in the future.

People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

It doesn't have to be.  And with the right agent, it COULD be.  Agents don't make you punch a clock, but they do help get your work into galleries and magazines and get it sold.  You can create your art whenever you want.  All the agent wants to see is sellable work on a fairly steady basis, since you and his other artists are his source of income.

In honor of Opening Day next week, here's a Poster I got to design today for Hornitos and the San Diego Padres!
It's not my favorite team (Detroit Tigers!), but it was still a fun project.

thanks, Randy

Thanks Russell!

Yep, my wife and I have been here for almost 5 years now. Great city! We love it here. We're in the Lawrence area, by the Geist.
It was actually the Brimstone and Americana decks that inspired me to check out this whole custom playing cards universe when
I saw them on Kickstarter last summer.

thanks, Randy

The Canon T3i is a wonderful camera, I highly recommend it. Image and video quality is superb and it handles well. Maybe not a 7D or the like, but a very nice piece of gear.

Hey Nathan,

I have no idea if it's all just time-lapse photography or some video mixed in as well. I would guess just photography. The work was created by a friend of a friend, so I don't know much about it. I just thought a lot of the photography fans on The Discourse would like it.

I didn't know you live in the Bay Area Nathan. From 2000-2007 I lived on the good ol' island of Alameda! I loved it there and it was awesome going to downtown San Francisco for work. It really is a georgeous area. My wife's family still lives out there so we visit the Bay Area at least once a year.

thanks, Randy

Ok, thx.
I live in Oakland since 2001. I moved twice: in my first house I could see all of San Francisco. It was beautiful! Now, I am very close to both Piedmont, Grand Lake, and Downtown, and I can see the beautiful hills as well as a bit of SF.
I take Bart and MUNI to SF to go to school everyday, and a 5 times a week I take bart to El Cerrito to either go to my Judo classes or to go to my piano lessons.
:D

Next time I visit my stepbrother in the lower Bay, I'll drop you a line.  I was there two summers ago for a big aikido seminar in the woods to the north of SF.
