I might get it if a UK retailer gets it in stock. If not... well, you know I do collect Bee cards and I'm guessing this one will have a different box colour to any of the ones I've got, so I would like one but not right now.

Few things to note with this deck:

The "ad" wasn't supposed to go up and went up by mistake. The real release is in a few weeks.

This deck will be on both cambric and ivory *like all others

If you buy a brick you will also get a special deck that can only be received from buying a brick.

I bought 6 of these. They didn't say anything about these having a Ivory or Cambric finish...although since the release was a mistake they could have simply not listed a choice between the 2 finishes. Mine should be here Monday or Tuesday so we shall see. I didn't get a chance to email them before they sent me shipping notification so maybe they made an educated guess and sent me 3 of each!

The deck has just been released, in TWO versions - BUT it's only available to CARC members!

There's the standard black and silver version, available in cambric and ivory.

There's a LIMITED EDITION (aren't they all?) silver and black version as well - all-silver back with black images on it. You only get it as a free gift - one per brick purchased - and it only comes in cambric. Based on the hyperbole in the ad print, those will be gone long before this deck makes to to public release direct from CARC. Expect those to go for a premium.

I've officially given up on even attempting to get caught up on the CARC/Erdnase decks. It's insanity, man, insanity!

Heh, not really worth the hype IMO. I would've liked to get a few just because I don't own any other acorn backs, but that's about it.
I'm actually more interested in the older green diamond back Erdnase decks, which I might be getting soon along with a few other discontinued decks. If I do chose to go with that order over another one.

Though if D&D manage to get some in stock, I might get one or two along with the book!

I agree with Moon, it's not worth the hype. I just don't bother to keep up with these decks. I don't care much for the design and there are too many colors. I have a couple that I got in variety boxes or something, but I haven't ever purchased a deck of these from CARC. I'm sure they are nice decks, but not my cup of tea

I own just a few decks, most of them NOT Erdnase, per se - EATCT, Ask Alex, Erdnaseum, etc. I have one green Acorn back and an EATCT stripper from D&D. It's not really a variety when it's a zillion color combos of about three different designs, all based on the theme of a magician no one outside of magic's ever heard of.

Moon: you think the Bucks'll carry this one? I don't know if it will make it to D&D before selling out - certainly not the silver version.

Of course not the silver ones, I meant the black ones. It all depends on how many are produced - do we have that information yet?

And even if they don't have those, they still have green ones in stock - they're all the same to me, whatever.

I do like that silver deck! I wouldn't mind having the black and the silver versions in my collection. I doubt that'll happen though, I'm not buying many decks because of some of the bigger releases coming up

I like the silver deck too! Thats the first deck in the series of colors that I actually like! But I won't be buying it because of other decks
