Anyone here play Gears of War? I'm a tad addicted, but I need to set up my entertainment center in this new place to hop back on.

Truancy at its finest, my friend. If you're going to skip school for anything it may as well be the conclusion to a trilogy. :D

I was surprised that his mom let him stay home and play it...then I found out she was playing it with him.

Too true, but I do believe they rectified that with the Gears 3 multiplayer. It's genuinely surprising how fast paced it is. No more "you have to wait to shoot after running!" The only downsides are no two-piecing and the sawed-off shotgun being whored at close range.

I just miss gears 1 for some reason. i was top 50 in the leaderboards for a long time in that game. it soo frustrating to play with a load of idiots that don't play as a team.

I'll admit Gears 3 has no teamwork. I remember ranked games in Gears 1 were 100% team oriented. Everyone had a mic and worked towards a goal.

Ya, that was the best!!! and the epic shotty battles between two guys when the rest of the two teams were dead and laughing in the lobby. I loved the lobby system, or lack thereof, in gears 1!!!
