Hype is doing good for me :D I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures and definitely buy a few! I find myself becoming slowly more an more inclined to the familiarity of the Bicycle logo. Can't wait!

But if what KPop said is correct, these aren't the same as the black and white decks. Those decks had very little by way of custom art while these are "95% custom artwork". He even mentioned they have a redesigned back with a thinner border.

As long as I can call them a trio in my collection.. I will be picking one up, just to make it complete. I would actually prefer a redesign, makes the set a bit more interesting.

IMO, this silver Vision deck is similar to that of the Shadow Masters. Its predecessors, the red and blue Masters, were just standard, while the Shadow Masters were a remix. In a similar way, the Black and White Vision were "standard", and now this metallic deck is a remix.

That actually makes sense. But the thing is that this deck, the original black version, was created for a limited run theatrical event that took place maybe two years ago. Seems like they're milking it for all it's worth and then some. But people keep buying, so whatcha gonna do, right?

They've only released limited editions to date, so I'm thinking this is limited. Shouldn't stop you from performing with it, though. Just don't practice with it!
KPop - I wouldn't go so far as to say this was "95% custom". It's a tweak to the existing back, a different font for the indices and no frames around the court images - oh, and shiny ink! It's a little more custom, but not 95%. But that's actually a good thing.

Seeing the first few photos I was disappointed in the less-than-anticipated customization. I still like the back design and the purple highlights are nice as well. But I honestly doubt I would buy it just based in that.
But.... Those jokers are seriously amazing in my opinion! I am in love with them! I look forward to the release of this deck and will definitely buy a few! Thanks for the constant pictures and updates!

I find this deck interesting just in terms of how it started as a single, commemorative release that coincided with a magic show at the Esplanade Theater in Singapore about two years ago and has now evolved into a mini-industry...
Having said that, these do look kinda nice.

Hey isn't that how most things turn out? A single release of anything that gains widespread popularity and huge success are milked for all it's worth through sequels and series and prequels and spin offs and remakes and and and....
But hey, these look nice so I'm not complaining.

The company advisor wanted me to relay some information to you:
VISION is a on-going production. We started off with a grand production in Esplanade, Singapore, and thats where our first deck was printed, along with plans for the white deck. As for the Silver Deck, it was printed for a convention in Canada last year end, where we showcased VISION. We will also be having another VISION production again sometime late half of the year this year. Hope that clear things up.
Also, the Silver VISION Deck will also most likely be our last VISION deck to complete the series. Just thought the fans might want to know that as well :)

As of the date that I made that post, they were in release - actually had been from a few months earlier. I'm told they went pretty much exclusively in the Asian markets, with practically none making it to North America or Europe. There's been a few deck releases fitting that description. One was written up by Lee Asher in this quarter's "Clear the Decks" from 52 Plus Joker. It was an Asia-only "Bee Cardistry 1902" deck, with the plainest back you ever saw on a Bee deck - a solid field of color with the word "Quality" printed in script at the top and bottom (it was a two-way back). Didn't hear jack about this deck until Lee wrote it up. He mentioned a website, qualitybeedeck.com (http://qualitybeedeck.com), but there's only a newsletter sign-up on that page.

There are a few dealers in Asia that handle overseas orders. If you have a friend that can read Chinese, there's always Taobao - China's answer to eBay.
While these guys don't have Vision Silver, they do have a number of decks I've never heard of. The only issue might be shipping - they're in Singapore. But for you, that might end up cheaper - you're in Australia, right?

My name is Kai, the person in-charge of the VISION DECKS project, and the guy feeding kpopfever with those wonderful photos to post here before my account was approved!
Anyways, we were intending to sell the silver vision decks earlier, but due to having more VISION theatre shows coming up next year, we have decided to hold on to the stocks and give/sell them during our shows. Thats why as of now, we have no public sale on the silver VISION deck yet, except to our own circle of magicians and friends.
That being said, I do not wish to see any disappointed supporters of our VISION decks as well! So for those who wish to purchase the silver VISION decks, please drop me an email at my official work email shingkai.chia@gateway-e.com. Most likely I won't be able to do bulk sales for you guys, but let me know how many decks you wish to get, and I will try my best to work with you to see how can I get them into your hands!
A few points to note :
- All deliveries will be from Singapore. The whole stock is here.
- Yes, this is limited print. The same amount as White Vision Decks, 2500. Black was at 1000, before USPCC raise the minimum limited to 2500.
- Yes, 95% Custom is about right, my designer, Keng San, placed alot of efforts into this 1. All pips, color, jokers, has been redesigned.
- Yes, I am really handsome.
As for whether this is the last deck.. Most likely. There are no talks on making another, and with the current state of the card industry.. Between you and me, I am not keen to come up with another deck. But the decision is not left to me, so anything is possible.
