Hey everyone. I would like to buy some massa playing cards as I have heard some great stuff about them, but I have a couple of questions:
1) Are they worth their price in your opinion?
2) Do they handle well?
3) Do they last a long time?
4) How many do you think I should buy?
5) Where do you think is the cheapest place/deal to buy them?
6) What are your thoughts on this deck?

Thank you,
Any additional information would be helpful,
Nathan

I couldn't say much about the use of it since I'm just a collector. But seeing it says it's "casino grade" and only cost slightly more than a regular bike deck, why not pick up a brick if you use cards on a daily basis?

It is very cheap. Nice to have one or two, but I don't like the handling of the decks.
Just for collection.

They handle well for a very short amount of time and then they clump. If you are getting them for that purpose I would shy away from these and get something more professional. If you are getting them for your collection then go right ahead!!

1) Are they worth their price in your opinion? Yes.
2) Do they handle well? Amazing.
3) Do they last a long time? No, their lifespan is extremely short.
4) How many do you think I should buy? A brick, at least.
5) Where do you think is the cheapest place/deal to buy them? You can find them for $2 a deck or less almost anywhere by just googling for them, or try putting up an ISO thread here.
6) What are your thoughts on this deck? Amazing deck, beautiful for flourishing and performances, but it doesn't last more than a couple hours.

2 bricks of them is cheaper than a brick of a lot of other decks. Its definitely worth it.

  • Card for me maybe?
Shipping's gonna be a b**ch though! I saw one post in a forum over a few years ago (2008 i think) said he sold 2 massas for SGD$10, it's cheaper than most decks I bought so far, basically on par with the aladdins I bought I think, roughly five bucks..

Well, unfortunately, I had to go and couldn't bid, but the winning bid was of 27$ with 10$ shipping. That's the price of bike standards @Costco! (+ the shipping). Bummer I missed out on this!

Hey, $4 per deck isn't bad at all!! I would still take that deal! That half the price of most decks now-a-days, if not even cheaper!

no worries, heres a link to some http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Massa-Premium-Linen-Black-Gold-Casino-Playing-Cards-/350281071812?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item518e60fcc4
I often bought decks from fullboatdealer last year. I remember it was very interesting when I ordered 20+ decks, the seller suggested that I use a Medium Flat Rate Box and buy his Massa decks to ship together (a medium box may contain at most 3x3x9=81 decks). Not until he told me the price did I know the Massa decks were terribly cheap (I believe people know they can always deal with him directly for a lower price). They might be used to protect my decks in the box, I didn't need bubble paper :P

No, I didn't buy those Massa decks. They are not my taste. I bought more Watermelons and gold-frame Tallys instead.
