Hello, Enrica, and welcome!  Please know that you're in good company - we don't haze the newbies and we welcome questions.

If I may offer some comments on your new design?  I think the artwork overall is lovely, but there are certain aspects of the overall graphic design that could use a little tweaking.

On your cards, why do you have a hard, thick border on the faces?  For your court cards in particular, they eat up "real estate" - space on a canvas of a very limited size to start with.  If you removed them, you could make the artwork larger.

And speaking of those court cards, I would remove the wide stripe down the center!  Again, they take attention away from the really good art - let that art shine by showing it off on a big, plain white background, or at least a uniform background of a light color.  It reminds me of racing stripes on a sports car.  Racing stripes are great for automobiles, not so great for playing card artwork, especially when it has nothing to do with racing.

Lastly, in regard to the pips and the indices (or indexes, if you prefer) - there's a strong temptation to fiddle around with indices and pips, especially when you're trying to gain attention for your product and make it unique.  The pips in the center of the card - they're small, and that's fine; I know of plenty of really cool designs that have done something similar.  They don't even need to be in traditional patterns to be effective.  But for the indices, I'd go for something just a little more traditional looking, for the sake of function - the value at the top, the suit at the bottom, with the suit about half the height of the value, and both the value and suit being of the same width on all the cards.  I think it would make the design more appealing to people who actually want to use the cards and not simply stare at them on a shelf.

Best of luck with your design - I look froward to seeing your Kickstarter campaign!
