I thought this wonderful portfolio of playing card images lampooning the Axis powers might be of interest. This portfolio is rarely seen in it's entirety. Have included a description of it below as well as a few photos. Anyone know how many may have been printed?

ANTONIO ARIAS BERNAL (1914-1960, Mexico) PLAYING CARD MASTERS, LITHOGRAPHS ON PAPER - Plate signed complete set of 56 unbound cartoons in a large folio, "Album Historico la II Guerra Mundial Illustrada por Arias Bernal" - Caricatures of World War II major figures, the portfolio includes a full description of each cartoon - A noted caricaturist, works by Bernal can be found in numerous collections - Provenance: the set was given to Trygve Lie by J. Resendiz Picasso when he was First Secretary General of the United Nations; Mr. Lie subsequently gave it to the consignor's great uncle, who was his private secretary. Includes all cartoons and the portfolio. 15.25" x 11.5
