The deck's been on DeckStarter for a while now - at 26 hours remaining they're still $1,750 short of their goal. On KS, that could be the kiss of death. On DS, it's practically a shoe-in! Decks NEVER fail on DS!
Well you called it Don, it is indeed funded. Can you fill me in on why DS is so different to KS? Can you share why do decks NEVER fail on DS?
One: as far as I know, all DeckStarter decks have been pre-printed before the campaign started to "raise funds" to get the deck made. Where I come from we do not call that crowd funding, we call it retail. But so far, the Buck twins keep pretending it's crowdfunding despite the fact that card collectors at the least can tell the difference. It's silly to think that we are "raising funds" to get the deck created when the deck already exists.
Two: for reasons beyond my imagination, the Buck twins contribute to every single DeckStarter project they've posted, usually in the four figures. If the project is lagging, they usually throw in extra to make up the difference. This is another key difference between crowdfunding and DeckStarter.
