Yeah that's super expensive!! I can sort of understand it though because it is a limited deck and all. I think it will cause a lot of people to shy away from buying one.

I hope it's not $18, like how D&D charged me for each v6 uncut. I don't get why they didn't ship it together, and had to charge me $36 for shipping two.

S&M V5 are only about at that price, and they're sold out. $95 for an uncut that's not even released yet? Hmm...

Perhaps on a deck with unique faces, but all in all, I think they are an utter and complete waste of money... I know some of you love them, so don't get your panties in a bunch... I would agree in general. There are a few that I think look great and I'm always down to get those if they aren't to expensive. But I could never see myself collecting them, because I also think it's a waste if they aren't exceptional.

Although I can see how some people see it as the deck being "displayed" instead of sitting in a box.

Some people want to have 2 tubes, it is convenient for them to resell the uncut individually. (I am not kidding, some of my friends complained to D&D and asked them not to ship uncut sheets in one tube)

Though I don't remember well, I am still sure S&M V5 was less then $50 (maybe $49.9 or $39.9 or $29.9) when they came out.

I think you got ripped off their. It doesn`t cost any more to stick another sheet in the tube. It is probably too long ago to contact them about it now but you could try.

There's a lot of uncut sheets for decks released within the last year or so that are selling in that range and higher.  It's not entirely unheard-of for an uncut sheet of a custom deck to reach the low three figures.

An object or service is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.  No more, no less.  And that someone isn't usually going to be the one with the lowest offer!  It may stink for the uncut sheet collector, but it is what it is.  The entire card collecting market and hobby is entirely a luxury pursuit.

Lance is here as user lancetmiller, but he's only made 2 posts.  I don't imagine he hangs out here a lot, except perhaps as a lurker.  Regardless, email's the better way to go.
