I didn't want to be harsh, but I also thought the same thing. They don't even have custom court cards or pips, yet they are saying they are revolutionizing the playing card industry? I'm not even a huge fan of their Ace of Spades. This seems like it is only marketing and hype...

I was a little disappointed in the lack of customization on the faces, but look at it like this: a lot of companies in the cards business release their initial offerings with little customization.  Before Arcane, every deck from Ellusionist had Bicycle standard faces - I don't count Ghost, since the tweak to the index pips is so minimal.  Until Dead Eyes, all Karnival decks were Bicycle standard.  Nearly every Theory11 deck uses Bicycle faces as well - much to the disappointment of many around here.  I'll grant that it's a different market now, but it's still early and they want to make an impression and get their toe in the door.  They seem to be preparing to offer more than just cards, as well - perhaps they'll be some magic and/or cardistry available as well when they open shop...

Don't get me wrong, I like special custom faces too, but don't really need them (and thus it is not the key point for me to buy a deck or not). When I use a deck of playing cards, 99 percent of the time, the cards are face down....

When I got the Blades decks and the clips from de'vo, I put a deck into the clip. They were so match, the only problem was I could not separate them. "Till death do us part", I heard that from the deck...

We know not every deck has the same thickness and Joe Porper card clips have different sizes (at least there are 2 sizes on E : standard and slightly larger). Blades clip really surprised me though I know the reason. They were produced at almost the same time (in fact, the clip was earlier than the deck), de'vo didn't the chance to test the clips and decks first. Now the Skulkor decks and clips are coming out at the same time, so... be careful

i put a v6 deck with 52 card in a carbon clip it was real tight and every time i took it out i pushes it apart a little then i put 53 then 54 54 real tight 53 a little tighter and now 52 is perfect before it was stragnling 52 now it slides in sweetly and dosent harm my box

yep the credits were worth 500 dollars of products and you oculdnt pay shipping with them and you had to spend the hwole thing at once i got 4 bricks another 7 decks ontop of that and 2 white joe porpers all for 49 shipping to the uk and they agreed to mark it as low price so i wouldnt pay high customs

There are 2 types of credits. The credit that Zaganh has, are 1 credit is $1..... but the other credits are earned by doing missions and stuff on the skulkor site and they are going to be used to exchange for certain items on their site that won't be for sale.

Second that. Because when you purchase a product on their site, for example the luxury package, it gives you 100 times more the credit of the product's price. I'm guessing these credits are for different uses. I'm not sure how they're going to differentiate that though, since they're both called Skulkor credits right now.

sxj -> no they're not, if you look in the account, they're called reward points. nowhere on the site does it refer to them as credits. even the mission quest refers to them as points.

guys, the credit that me and zagan won arent special credits, it's just $500 dollars. it's like getting store credit at a department store.

they called it a credit because they're not giving you cash so it's just $500 dollars. think of it as a coupon, they gave us a code to get a $500 dollar discount.

it's different from the points you earn based on each purchase. those points are used to redeem special products in the future. from what they've said, the items that can be redeemed will not be for sale. i guess it's kinda like the card clips.

im not sure where the confusion is coming from, the contest clearly states u get a $500 credit. the reward for purchases are reward points or points for short. they were never referred to as credits.

What I still don't understand is why they gave 10 x 500$ instead of more of bigger prizes...

well they can give out larger prizes but then there would be less winners and less contests. 500 is still a hefty amount. it may not have cost them 500 in terms of products since they would have gotten it made for cheaper than that but it's still a 500 dollar credit.
