Hmmm, I'm wondering that E might have something to surprise us in Christmas.
I'm not spending now cause I just ordered for 2 LTD.

Really hope that there would be something about the BG V1.
It's the only deck from E that I don't have yet.

Im done as well. Just spent $357 from E to get the 2 LTD's and my first BG V1. No more, unless they offer something amazing as Christmas approaches.

E is a business, they're trying to sell a luxury product in a hard economy, so they have to sweeten the pot on a regular basis. We're not seeing anywhere this much activity from the other retailers.

I'm good for Red Artifice, myself. I'd rather have the double LTD deal instead of this, anyway. But for those who wanted them for so long, now's their chance to catch a break. I don't see this as a bad thing. You wait for the deal you want and strike while the iron's hot. If your deal doesn't come by, or you're overspent on E, well, you can't have them all all the time.

I should have waited for all along, right?
Now I want only the BG V1.
But I have 3 gold arcane, and 5 red artifice, and 2 LTDs.

Hmmmm.

I guess I will wait for $75 for the BG v1 promotion.
Or $150 for BG v1 promotion is still fine.

I have yet to see BG1E decks going for that little. Best I managed was getting a deck once as an apology for a screwed up order. Otherwise it's always been the $350 threshold, at least since I've been buying from E, which is about a year. Around the middle of the year they announced there was about 1000 left on hand, the other 4000 are either in circulation or destroyed (gasp!). That number isn't going to get bigger, so I'm thinking they'll keep the remaining supply at least as difficult to obtain as it is now.

I'm thinking of spending $151.37 on Ellusionist, to get the free Red Artifice and the free LTD. deck.
My order is; 6 Arcane decks (3 black, 3 white), 16 Artifice v2 decks (4 blue, and a brick of emerald), 2 Black Tiger decks (1 red, 1 white), 1 Shadow Masters, 2 Bicycle Ghost decks, 1 Artifice Red deck (free), 1 Blue Masters deck (free), 1 LTD. deck (free), and a holiday wristband.
Do you guys think it's worth it? I'm kinda hesitant to spend this amount of money when I'm a little short of money, but I really want a Red Artifice deck and an LTD. deck. I want to take advantage of the free Red Artifice deck promontion, but I'm not sure whether or not to hold out and wait to see if there will be another, even better promotion.
It just seems likely that I'll place my order, and then the next day they'll introduce a new promotion which results in me getting Red Artifice, Gold Arcane, Black Ghost 1st Edition and LTD. All for like, $50. What do you think?

Pointless looks kinda cool, but I'm primarily a collector over a magician. I wouldn't want to spend $50 on one trick.

Pointless is a great trick, the gimmick is pretty suspected though. I just go it yesterday and I already got done like 70% of the routine. If you get it, you won't regret it.

same i agree with you .. i wont want to spent $50 on a trick .. but i am willing to spent on gaff deck

One of the best tricks I ever bought was "Get Sharkey" in the Phoenix deck design for $80. Awesome trick, really fools people.

Have you considered some gaff cards? Arcane (both colors), Ghost and Black Tiger all have gaff decks. You can also get "Arcane Gaff Techniques" on DVD for the Arcane decks and "Army of 52" on DVD for the others - although due to the new USPC restrictions on back modifications, the Black Tiger deck has features that the Ghost doesn't and vice versa (Ghost decks, at least as far as I know, are still selling from older stock predating the restrictions, and the DVD was also pre-restrictions). You'll learn some sleight of hand and some forcing, though having some background in this first helps.

If you have the arcane deck, get the arcane gaff deck instead of the blue gaff.
And be sure to get some Infinity decks!
