Anything from 0 to probably half a dozen, depending on how many catch my fancy?

I don't have a budget or a cap (though I really should - this hobby is going to bankrupt me!)

Generally speaking that is true.  One to play and one to stay unopened.  And of course your unopened ones you want to put them them in a nice big display case....

Wow, I wish I could afford to have my cards displayed like that!!!

I actually tend to go with 3 if possible/affordable... 1 to open, 1 to collect, and 1 in case I ever want to give it away or sell it...

For designs that I really love/think I'm going to want to play with a bunch (eg. Origins or Lee's new Empire Bloodlines deck (go back it https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kingsandcrooks/empire-bloodlines-playing-cards-and-warrior-card-a!!), I went for the brick! =)

Hi guys, I'm new here! I'm primarily a collector, though by no means would I claim to be an expert... I just love the miniature art form which playing cards represent, as well as the feeling of accomplishment as I build up my collection! =)

I am also a wannabe cardist/magician, but am a complete klutz and am terrible at both...=P

PS: When someone does get their deck, please do post pics (as many as possible! =P) - can't wait to see them!

I would've loved to have some of these, and came this close to pulling the trigger, but, as others have said, at that price point, I just couldn't make myself do it!

Got my Origins a few days ago... They handle like a dream (not surprising), and the tuck boxes are elegant and beautiful... A bit reminiscent of the Monarchs, IMO, but not similar enough to be a bad thing...

As bamabenz mentioned, the FirstEd deck actually looks better than the Grail Edition to me (surprising for me), though i really like the pearlescent stock used for the Grail Edition tuck boxes! Haven't seen anything like it elsewhere!
