Title: Andrew Dougherty Monogramed Indicator Decks - Please help identify
Post by: Chuqii on October 22, 2018, 03:31:58 PM
So these are all of my Dougherty monogramed decks, and I would love it if anyone could identify any of the monograms.  The top left spells out Union in the "U" shape, but what kind of union I can't say.  The others are "TR&C", "BC", and "HC".  If you know or have any guesses as to what these stand for, place in comments.  Thanks.

Here's another one.  Mysterious line of cards.

I read "MC" - is that right?

These could have something to do with unions or perhaps fraternal organizations that were popular at the time of printing.  I've heard of playing card makers incorporating the logos of these groups into their designs to boost demand.
