So I'll restate here what I wrote there:

Sean, is KS letting you skate on the "10 bricks" pledge? That's a whopper - they've been limiting other deck projects to not more than a dozen decks - only one brick.

Yup they approved it. Technically its under the policy without breaking any rules. A brick is a single item.

So I want 3 decks at early bird special, can I do that? the only option I saw with 3 decks makes it 7 per deck.

Careful, they might suspend it. I asked about doing that and they squashed it in the middle of funding for Quicksilver.

I'd just get rid of it and contact your resellers directly and have them pledge in the $1 level to be safe.

A lot of early-birds these days only allow for purchasing a single deck at the bargain-basement price. I've heard of many people who offered an early bird only to find people trying to order them by the brick or more at that price. They're targeting them more for the people who would love to own a deck but simply wouldn't do so at the full price because it's out of their price range.

Wow it wasn't even 24 hours yet and it reached 25% of the goal. Thank you everyone who pledged! That's one step closer to making this dream and this deck to reality. Those of you have not pledged, now is the time! International specials, combo specials, early birds etc etc

Thank you again everyone and for all of the positive feedback I've received. I worked very hard on this deck and learned from the Galvanic deck on how I can improve visual and make customers happy.

So I just contacted Kickstarter and just waiting for an approval.

Here is my argument on selling bricks:
I explained a brick consist of 12 playing cards decks which come shipped straight from the manufacture in a sealed white box. In order to ship the rewards to backers I need to break open most of the boxes and grab individual decks.

Technically 1 brick is a single item because it is shipped to me that way in a sealed box. So why can't I setup a reward that states if you pledge a certain amount you will receive 10 bricks?

I will post back once I get a response.

The biggest reason they put a limit on the number of items you give as rewards (specifically, the number of items that the project was established to create) is that they don't want Kickstarter to become some kind of wholesale clearinghouse.

It's meant for individuals to invest in individuals and small groups, rather than businesses doing the investing.

Just stopping by to let everyone know that roughly 500 decks have already been pre-ordered. It is currently sitting with $4,601 towards goal (38%) and steadily increasing.

Really excited, about to hit 5k in only 7 days! To get things rolling again I will be putting up t-shirts as a second reward! Will be 2 different designs.
I want to keep the rewards small and not a store. A Kickstarter project should be a project dedicated to one thing with SMALL items to help you out.
Let me know what everyone thinks of this idea. Will be posting images later on the facebook page! : D

T-shirts are now available as a reward! Add $20 to any pledge to reserve one! (International is a little more due to weight and shipping). More designs will be coming within the next few days! Once the survey rolls out just let me know which design you want!

Kickstarter page has been updated! 43% of the goal has been reached and still has 19 days left. More rewards has been added including: More Galvanic/Lucent combos, bricks and early birds! Get them while you can and spread the word to get this deck funded. Still doing very well and has plenty of time left.

Today only: All backers may add additional decks to their pledge by adding $4 per deck (No limit). This special ends tonight at midnight eastern time.

Not a backer yet?: Pledge for a normal reward then go back and add as many decks as you would like for $4!

Thank you to everyone who pledged during the course of this project. Unfortunately, goal was not met this time around. The good news is though I will be re-launching this again next month. Just like my Galvanic deck, I'm sure it will get funded during the second time frame.

I am going to go back to the designs and re-touch up on the back design, ace and court cards. On top of that I will be adding a lot more rewards for everything since that is the trend now on Kickstarter.

My intentions was to make another dream come true by creating a deck of playing cards, not have a store with little stuff based off the cards. But since that's what everyone is looking for now, I will step up and meet everyone's expectations.

Hey, I'm not big on the trinkets either, but a small selection of goodies would be nice. And you need to be a more solid promoter of this deck - I've hardly heard "boo" from you in many days regarding this deck - your post previous to your last one was from 19 days ago, on New Year's Day.

I really like this deck but will not be pledging. I feel the price for 3 decks is high, since there is no way to get an early bird deal on them. You can only get one deck at the early bird price. I will just trade for them later.

...and that is why some decks fail. If you wait until the after-market retailers and traders have it, it might never get made in the first place. No one to trade with for it then!

i pledged at th $30+ mark .. Although shipping is a little much, it's much better than what I've seen other projects charge for .. And something tells me th deck is worth it
