Hey guys,

BMPoker writes about another deck on it's way.

"It looks like there is going to be a white version of the Bicycle Vision deck. Production is suppose to be 1,000 decks but as soon as I know for sure, I will let everyone know.

The black ones are pretty cool. They handle really nice for just being air-cushion and the back design is lovely. I'll need to see pics of these before I commit, though.

I am a pretty big fan of the original Vision deck and am glad I was able to snag one when they were going for fairly cheap. It would be awesome to be able to own the pair, if/when this is released I would definitely be picking one up.

The original Vision decks were made to coincide with a show in Singapore back in the spring. It seems odd they'd make more now, unless $$$ were in their eyes. How could they pull off a print run of 1,000 if USPC only does runs of 5,000 these days? They make exceptions, I've heard, but they're not so common. If they are that rare, I'm thinking they'll be prohibitively expensive.

What, exactly, are you trying to say? You're complaining about the white border making them look ugly - and you think the WHITE edition won't have a white border? And you're saying the White edition will look nicer - why, because you've seen it already?

I doubt that this will become a Kickstarter project. These aren't some newbie deck designers with a vision and the drive to see it through - it's a totally standard deck with a nice-looking back and Ace of Spades that was created to advertise a show that ran for a week-and-a-half back in July at the Esplanade Theater in Singapore. I get the feeling this doesn't require a Kickstart unless the magic duo of Lawrence and Priscilla Khong failed to turn a profit on their show and the deck release. It doesn't handle any fancier, it doesn't make your magic any easier - there's very little that makes this deck special other that what I described above. As a Kickstarter project, this would probably flounder because of the lack of a very original idea behind it - it's bleedin' advertising, man! But as a self-funded project intended to promote a pair of performers, it's better than most.

Mid-way through the Bicycle Wounded Warrior deck thread the conversation turns to the white Vision deck briefly. Bmpokerworld said there that they will have them and will post once they are in stock. They are likely to be in the $12-13 range, it was said.

I imagine it's just a typo; or at least they are saying they're in stock but not yet available. The cards are in the 'coming soon' section and not the 'products' section and they have no 'add to cart' like the products that are actually in stock and for sale.

That probably means that De'vo has them in his possession. They just won't be available until friday. The Pro Cardistry deck is in stock also.

Release date for White Vision is Friday, March 23.
They will have them in my eBay store on that day (52-and-Jokers).
Pre-order price for is $10.95 per deck or 2 decks for $20.

I have talk too to the designer of this deck ( Singapore ), but he do not want to reveal the selling price until next week.

And yes, it will be 1000 decks only available

Limited, but not insanely so. Hence the relatively low price.

For a US buyer, you're probably better off getting them from BMPokerWorld. He mentioned a price in the range of $11-$13, but he also has cheaper shipping and a 10% discount coupon code. The only advantage the Singapore seller has is the random giveaway of two uncut sheets. BMPW's going to have them for sale on Friday.

Like Curt I purchased the black deck from that same seller, the price for me is fine, a little more than I would like but shipping to the UK is very good and any other sellers will be no cheaper in total so I'm fairly happy.

My white raiders are one of my favorite decks! The black ones are eh... I'm just not a huge fan of the blue outlines on the face cards on the black deck, but I love the white ones.

True, many dont appreciate them, I was out of the mix when they were released and now the black decks seem harder to come by so I never did get any, another black and white deck I dont have but I'm not very keen on is the Pirate decks, for the most part though I like black and white decks, my favourite being the smoke and mirrors series.

Just bought a couple from the Ebay seller. As the flying fisherman said, the price won't be much different for buyers here in the UK when it's sold later this week from US retailers, nor even UK retailers if/when it finally arrives here. I don't have the black version of this deck, but I'm not actively seeking it at this moment in time. I'll just try to keep it in the back of my mind as one to get if the opportunity arises.

From what I've heard of the Garden decks, you aren't missing much. Rare though they may be, anyone I've heard of who's handled them says they handle like crap.

@ Don Boyer, no worries and yeh I've heard many bad things about the handling of the deck but im still drawn to them for my collection, I'll never pay the asking price on ebay though and as time goes by and so many other great decks are released I'm slowly losing interest anyway.

I have heard numerous negative comments about this deck but I am looking forward to picking it up. I plan on ordering it Friday. I purchased a Black Vision deck last year for around $20. Not sure if it was a good pick or what it's value is now but I always liked it.

Yeah, they didn't stay in stock too long, maybe a few months and gone. Was it only a 1000-deck print run for the first? I know this one is 2,500, so perhaps it'll be around for a little while.

Anyone know if they're planning a new Vision show to go with the new deck?

Received my deck today and thought I'd share some pics. I thought I'd save bandwidth and upload them to a seperate site, so find them here.

I don't have the black version of this deck, so I can't compare. My own opinion is that it's a nice deck - nothing spectacular about it. The back design and Ace of Spades is pleasing to the eye with the white works very well, I think.

Handling wise - it's a Bicycle, air-cushion deck. It handles like one. I'm not a fan of giving too much attention to handling.

I'd say that given the fact that this deck is just 'nice' and the standard faces, I would just use this deck as standard. I like using the Bicycle Ghost deck as standard and it has non-standard pip colours. However, the price of this deck makes it pretty hard to justify using it as a standard, every day deck. So, I guess I'll use it from time to time, but mostly it'll just sit in its box.

In other words, it's a lot like most brand new decks straight out of the box!

It was always more about the cool back design with the first Vision deck than anything else. The fact that it was a limited edition was icing on that cake. It would seem the same is true of the second one.

My current everyday decks are USPC Guardians and Bicycle Split Spades blue stripper. Why? They were common enough at the time I purchased them. It's hard to use a limited edition model for everyday - the everyday deck is the one that gets handled by half of creation, used under less than pristine conditions, etc. I'm probably going to swap out my Guardians with Karnival Death Heads as soon as I can find a decent leather card case to put them in - the Fournier box is too flimsy. At least I can wash Death Heads when they get dirty.

Well you're lucky. Recent ebay auction of one black vision and white vision playing cards went up for US$90.

Yep, you're right. Lucky are tou and me who had a chance who got them at a cheap price, I got a brick at MC too, I am thinking for the people who have missed the chance to buy from MC, here is a second chance to get them, at least without having to pay for shipping.
