I've just checked at Theory11's website, and they are having $1 shipping to ship two bricks. Now, that's the cheapest I've ever seen shipping on the actually internet, and I wanted to know how long theory11 is going to have discounted shipping rates, and if the $1 shipping deal is actually a great deal. What do you guys think?

I'm not seeing that... but it's a reliable company so I would trust it. I know that when I ordered my Karnival decks back in the day I got $1 shipping! It seems good to me

If this was a random site you'd never heard of like www.magicmadnessmallshopforeverybodyandtheirgrandma.com then I would be more skeptical.

Great deal, but then again their products lack ingenuity. I feel like whenever I get a T11 deck, the v2 is a few weeks away, with metallic ink of course.

If you want to get two bricks from them, then it is a great deal, however you shouldn't be getting more cards then you want/need just to save on shipping :)
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

Oh, I didn't really purchase anything yet, I just wanted to get a quote from their site. Then, I found this deal and thought I'd share.

Don't forget the box with embossing, debossing, rebossing, yesbossing, nobossingmearoundbossing, and a coat of matte-finish paint for that extra dull, I'm-going-to-wear-out-in-a-day look...

Try finding out - go through the steps of placing an order without finalizing it.  When you find a company that'll send something as heavy as two bricks of playing cards to the other side of the world for just a buck, you let us know...

(And consider answering your own questions like this in the future as well.  Sometimes you'll learn something the rest of us don't know, tell us, and we'll be thrilled to know it.  But don't expect every answer to every question to be simply handed to you here, because sometimes we just won't have the answer.  Do some independent research now and then.)
:)

$1 domestic shipping shouldn't come as a surprise - Amazon will ship practically anything free domestically if you order over $25 worth of their products.

Yeah their products are pretty lacking. I would have trouble finding enough for two bricks. The only thing I would even think about getting would be two bricks of the Charity: Water decks. I really like those!

Then why not just order less than two bricks?  It can't possibly cost MORE to send LESS than two bricks!  If so, then tell 'em you want a brick of air...

Am I missing it somewhere? When I went to test it out by adding two bricks, none of the shipping options are $1...

Actually, IT DOES!... Surprisingly. Shipping for one brick is $9.95 while shipping for two bricks is $1 - theory11 is being weird again! See the attachments for proof.

It seems that this discount only apply's if you are getting T11 decks (no discount for trying to get bricks of tallys or bikes from them), and it doesn't seem to have the same discount if you try and get mixed bricks.

I guess you could call it a loyalty bonus.  Again, it's not unlike Amazon giving free shipping on orders over $25.

What would you get if you can't get mixed bricks?! I honestly can't think of any of their cards that I would want two bricks of.  :-*

Y'know, when you put it that way, it is kind of a useless deal.  It'd be different if they were selling something in the numbers of the old Smoke & Mirrors, but those days, at least for the time being, appear to be gone.
