Playing Card Plethora / Magician Knows by 808 Playing Cards Co.
« on: August 26, 2016, 09:48:28 AM »
Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce a new deck to all of you, and especially those who do magic.

"Magician Knows" is an amazing magician themed deck was designed by 808 Playing Cards Co. from Taiwan and illustrated by the creator of "Mix" - Li Min.

This is a fully customized deck, each and every card, the two Jokers and the tuck case, all of them illustrated a different idea or joke of magic, concepts ranging from close up, stage manipulation to grand illusion magic. It is an understatement to say much thoughts have went into the design and making of this deck.

If you are a magician or a magician hobbyist, we guarantee this deck will impress you by the creative ways of how these concepts were illustrated and that you will have tremendous fun guessing the idea from all the different illustrations.

Designed and Made in Taiwan
A full customized deck: 52 cards, 2 Jokers, Tuck Case, Closure Seal
Comes in pair of Black & White and Spectrum

Playing Card Plethora / The TAA Playing Cards from Coterie1902.com
« on: June 30, 2016, 09:21:47 AM »
Hi everyone,

Hope everything around you guys super.

It's been nearly over a year since we last released anything new on Coterie, this is mainly because we've had too many other projects that have been keeping us busy.

We did, however, share our know how with TAA: The Ace Assembly, which is a group of elite Hong Kong magicians for this new release

The TAA Playing Cards - Poetry of Conjuring.

This is a limited edition of 1000 decks, printed in Taiwan, same texture and feel akin to Empire Keeper Playing Cards.

Designed by the same artist that brought you The Amour Deck.

Available now at : http://coterie1902.com/products/playing-cards/taa-playing-cards

We have some major new releases coming up from our own as well, so keep an eye on what's new with us.

Best,

Zenneth

Playing Card Plethora / The One Playing Cards @ Coterie1902
« on: July 27, 2015, 05:16:36 AM »
Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce a deck of cards that is called The One Deck.
Made by LPCC in China, artwork by Stuart Palm, released by The One Entertainment.
A limited edition of 1000 decks, a few hundred of them are currently released through us per a special arrangement.

This deck is primarily designed for the magic artists at The One Entertainment to use in their shows, not exactly targeted at general sales.

Quality of the cards is similar to the Taiwan made decks, but more paper-ish.
I think LPCC might have located the same manufacturer as the Pr1me deck, because the tuck case texture certainly looks like it but I am not 100% sure.

It's now available at our store.

Thanks,
Zenneth

Playing Card Plethora / Gold Seal Coterie Bee
« on: November 22, 2012, 07:47:33 AM »
Hi everyone,

First of all, please stop complaining to me, let me repeat this:
I do not have the final say on everything with Coterie1902, I only have the final say on product design.

However, all the complaints are directly to me, this is unfair to me as well.

I have explained the situation to The Exclusive Coterie about the possibility of releasing Gold Seal version.

Let's just say a small amount of Gold Seal version Coterie Bee could be released, but:

There will NOT be any unsigned, cellophane wrapped version of Gold Seal Coterie Bee available

and...just let me say this openly:

I, do not have the power and rights to arrange the sales of Gold Seal Coterie Bee privately. So, I won't be able to of help to anyone to get it.

If you are interested in getting the Gold Seal version of Coterie Bee, instead of sending emails to me personally, please send a email to:

info@coterie1902.com

Subject: Gold Seal Coterie Bee

You don't have to say anything in your email, if you hear back by the end of this month.

You'll know what to do.

Though, according to the number of PMs and emails that I received, most likely you will need luck to be able get it, so good luck.

p.s. seriously... stop blaming me... :-[

Playing Card Plethora / Traditional Cut vs. Standard Cut
« on: June 19, 2012, 01:35:21 PM »
Hey guys,

I am in the process of making a new deck- The Project C deck...it's going to be a 5000 decks run on Bee stock.
This deck is primarily developed for working magicians and cardistry practioners, so I want to make sure this deck is great to use and handle, that's why I have asked for a "Traditional Cut" for them.

However, here is some very interesting facts about the "Traditional Cut" from USPC:

Hello Zenneth,

As Ashley eludes in her email below, USPC has not perfected implementing the “traditional cut” method in our current machinery. Therefore, it is a bit risky to ask for a non-standard cut as we cannot guarantee this in our process, and you may end up with a mixed order.

Is this critical to your decks? If not, I would recommend our face-up cut.

Please let us know your thoughts.

I reconfirmed this with a very reliable source and received the same answer, apparently, "Traditional Cut" does help out the execution of certain table moves, but it will also make the decks end up with an inconsistent edges, so when you handle the decks, they will give you a feel as if you are handling a stripper deck.

Anyway, I end up decided to go for smooth edges instead of taking chances.
