I have to agree with you, Paul. As a cardist the Exquisites outshine the Global Titans by quite a bit, even the Legends doesn't feel as "right" as the Exquisites do IMO.

It's actually more expensive. Depending on how many decks you order, it can be a dollar or more per deck higher. The trick is you can order a 100 decks instead of 2500.

It's how people can create a short-run deck on KS and have a goal of only $1,000 to $2,000.  Per-deck costs are higher, but the minimum quantity you can order is so low that it takes very little to cross the threshold and cover your costs.  Once you've hit that goal, the more orders you get, the lower the per-deck costs go - a boon if your project is exceedingly successful.

A boon for the creator, not the pledgers. Unless stretch goals add some freebies to make up for the lowered deck price.

This is pretty much a novelty deck by my standards. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that, but I rarely buy novelty decks.

Love the court cards, apart from the amount of negative space, but the back and tuck are kinda meh to me.

I actually thought the two birds as the Jack was pretty inventive.  It's like how Dan and Dave appear as opposite heads of a king in some CARC decks.  Don't ask me which King, I can't recall, but I can say definitely that the KS is David Blaine and the KH is Bill Kalush.

That would be a better way to depict them, to have Hugin on one side and Munin on the other to make it more like a traditional court. I don't mind non-traditional, but it should be consistent. As they are now, they stick out a bit.

They already have "unofficial" names.  The Shanghai printer and the Taiwan printer.  To the best of my knowledge, the Global Titans came from the Shanghai printer.  The rest came from the Taiwan printer.  The Taiwan printer is also believed to be the same printer used by Misdirection's Mystery for their three decks.

Thanks for that, Don. I guess I didn't pay enough attention to have picked up the unofficial names. Do you know (or have an inkling) if the FatboyEatAllDay decks are printed by either of these factories as well?

If you can find them, I highly recommend getting some Tally Ho's printed in Cincinatti, Ohio. All of USPCC's decks were MUCH better before the factory moved to Kentucky, and Tallys were the cream of the crop (without going too far back in time). The bottom of the box should say where they were printed, and in most cases red or blue seals also means OH (though there was an overlap in when the factory moved and when they switched to black seals.

Somehow, I don't think he'll miss your pledge, since there will be enough people interested in seeing a better version of this to replace any lost funds from folks like you and then some. 

You wouldn't think so judging by many of the comments in this thread. And don't forget that many people have a set quantity they buy decks in, which would effectively get halved when only one deck is offered instead of two.

Anyway, it doesn't matter since according to the last update it will relaunch with both decks right off the bat, with updated shipping and single deck pledge levels.

Not practical even as a novelty.

For any given game you could achieve the same result by simply using 2 regular decks and double the amount of cards in play, e.g. for Hold'Em use 4 hole cards and 10 table cards.
