The change in the court cards is interesting - sort of like having the benefits of a black deck design without the chips on the edges being so visible.  I just wish they'd done a better back.  Not only is it one way, but it looks like it should be hanging in the Black Velvet Paintings section of the Museum of 1970s Kitsch.

The courts are far from horrible, but they're not original. And that back is absolutely awful. They could have at least tried to duplicate and  mirror the head, making it a 2-way.

I'm guessing this is for Chinese New Year, seeing as the year after Year of the Snake is Year of the Horse. But aside from the dragon on the armor, everything looks more European than Chinese.

EDIT: Wow, I'm an idiot. I didn't even read the text on the back of the deck. Yup. It's Chinese new year.

I have to agree with both of you, while I think the deck is pretty interesting and worth a nod, the back design is a little more than disappointing.
