I think you should offer the international shipping (at least to Canada! I think it is a little cheaper to ship to canada) even offer just first class international and offer no refunds for lost or damaged items with it. I would buy a brick or two if I can.   

I picked up 3 of these, the price point was a little steep I think, but they look awesome so whatever.

And I dont get why people always complain about tier rewards, they are business's who want money just deal with it.

I would just sell them to anyone here on AC and sell them as mystery decks, Just sell them 1 for $x and eventually get rid of them all. I would be into buying some for sure.

News flash: HOPC does not print more than a tiny fraction of all the designs that get submitted to them.  To get printed, it has to be knock-it-out-of-the-park good to them.

I dont know why they would turn it down. I liked the Harlequin design more than the Mechanic Deck, the Verves, and Heraldry's. But I guess that is their decision.

He could always just do a pre-order through a personal site and see how it goes.

Haha well in average people money it is alot, but in Big Magic Company Money it must not be much.

Ellusionist isn't as huge as you'd think.  They probably have a staff about the size of the one at my job - under 20 people including the boss.

When you say "staff" are you counting their design team, shipping/processing team,, and CEO? Twenty people just seem too little compared to how many orders and ideas they have on their plate.

About 20 people would sound about right to me, just the immediate team though, not artists that sell tricks on the site, but their Shipping, CEO, Designers, Customer support would seem about 20 people.

Think about it they have 1 CEO and maybe 2 other executive people. 6-7 people for shipping, like 3 or 4 designers, and a few customer support workers.
