Bicycle Pin-Up Playing Cards

CPC saw the release of their Bicycle branded Pin-Up Playing Cards in late September. Funded on Kickstarter this is a fun deck that challenges many of the rules of playing card design. Pin-Up is a completely custom deck that features a full bleed custom card back and safe for work courts with an interesting take on indices. Bicycle Pin-Up Playing Cards are now available at many of your favorite playing card retailers.

Forgive the brevity of the report, but the following decks were debuted and made available for sale at the 52+J convention that recently concluded, and thus qualify as 2015 releases:

Release is still pending for the white Tally Ho decks in Circle and Fan Backs from Penguin Magic - they are not expected to release until sometime in the first half of next year.

Yes, I'm quoting myself...

I should note that WIDE release of most if not all of these decks is still pending. So if you can't find them now at retail, that's why.

Also - Madison Revolvers have been in limited "pre-release" to the public for the past three days and will be for three more - but only if you're one of the lucky folks who can order one of the 52 decks being released each day. Otherwise, you have to wait for the full release on December 8th.

Green is a color that I've always wanted to see on Monarchs! Very cool stuff.

I did. I got both the Asylum deck and the new Back to the Asylum. But, alas, they are sitting in my pile, er... I mean queue, of unopened decks to go through. I do open all my decks. I have to touch the cards and devalue them. LOL

So I opened up the Back to the Asylum deck last night. The cards are very papery feeling and they fan like crap.

The original Bicycle Asylum project finally delivered, many months late. They look a bit bland because of the black-and-white art and huge white borders, but they handle as well as any other Bicycle custom deck, which is to say decent. It's amazing what a simple lawsuit from an attorney general can accomplish...
