Thank you so much for such comprehensive information regarding LPCC and EPCC. I have been away for over 3 years, I had missed so much in between. Everything you shared here is simply what I needed. I'm happy that LPCC and EPCC is doing so much to improve their decks, you just made me make some orders through LPCC to see their latest creation 😁

the description of the deck online uses the term "Ultimate Marked Deck."

I would be interested where you see that claim.. as far as I know Gatorbacks is not marked.

Somewhat off topic, the deck contains no double backed card, also would expect in a more expensive deck.
And I don't always expect double back in a more expensive deck, but I do expect them coming from gaff decks.  8)

you can find the version number on the tuck boxes too, maybe that will help  :)

the last unbranded black reserve note sold on eBay was sold for $280.
I can't really recalled exactly how much for the branded black reserve note or the other federal 52 series individually.

Yeah, kinda sad it wasnt a limited release  :(

Why be sad? A lot of people will be able to have these in their hands now. That's a good thing in my opinion, they won't be coveting mine!  ;)

Maybe hoping the prices to go up and make profit  8)

It was fun for me in the beginning, then slowly I thought of buying in bulk and selling them for a little profit to cover what I want to keep. That didn't work out the way I wanted. So now I am back with having fun collecting what I really want  ;)

I try to choose carefully what I really like and not buy things based on popularity  :P

Hi Hagop welcome to the forum  :D

This place is one of the best forum for playing cards. You can pretty much search for anything from Antique to Modern deck.
Dont be afraid to ask if you have any questions, there are many collectors here that have tons of knowledge and they do like to share.

Bomber PCC is based in Taiwan, I am not sure who their printer is however their deck quality is similar to Legends PCC or Expert PCC deck.

http://bombmagic.tw/store/

If you want you can always try their keeper deck, which is only $2/deck and see it for yourself   :)

You're looking for something extremely specific there.  Not many were made, even fewer will be up for trade or sale.

Have you considered trying to contact Jackson Robinson for help?  I'd never discourage you from advertising here, but you're looking for a specific needle in a field of haystacks, with no magnets in sight.

Actually I missed 1 line... I don't mind it even if it is not no 47  :P
but I of course my preference will be no 47  ;D

You're still looking for a very rare item.  The rarer the item, the lower the odds of finding one on the market.

I'd still talk to Jackson, were I in your shoes.  He might help make the search easier.  Worst that could happen is he says he can't help, in which case you're no worse off than you are now.  Best that could happen is he helps you broker a deal with a known owner of the deck, maybe even the owner of #47.

True, I will give it a try  :P
thanks Don

After searching for over a year I finally got these decks on my hand  :D

This deck was mentioned by Don a while back, and after looking at the old Kickstarter project I love the theme deck.

Can't wait to open 1 tonight  ;D

There's an entire website that goes with the deck, explaining every single card's story...

I actually gave my deck to my elder stepson a couple of years ago.  They're VERY rare, hard to obtain.  Not terribly high quality in terms of performance, but it's an art deck - you don't buy art decks for their glide and ease of shuffling.

I did checked the website previously, but it is no longer available now.
I am not expecting this to be performance deck, but I really love the artworks  ;)

Empire Keeper Dragon Cards by Bomb Magic Studio
Released in March 2016
Printed by Bomber Playing Card Co.
(Available in Blue and Red.)

http://bombmagic.tw/store/product/empire-keeper/

Hi Don,

Recently I bought this decks and I have to say they are really good for that price.
To my surprise they handle similar to classic stock offered by EPCC or LPCC

They look pretty cool - but there's no face images.  I'm betting they're standard.

Hard to beat $2 a deck - but it's also hard to expect quality at that price.  If anyone gets some, I'd be curious to know more.

I know most if not all of his work printed by LPCC used classic finish - Draconians, Midnight Bowlarama and Grinders

then we have the Mirage which uses classic finish as well.

Dave, I agree this 1 of the best effect out there and make a big impression at the end.
I love the looks on the spectator faces when the selected card was revealed inside the cellophane.

Do you have any other recommendation for other trick like this?

Thanks

This is news to me.  Only 16?  That's an unusually small number, even for Blaine.  I tried searching for info about it through Google and on United Cardists but got no hits.  I don't suppose you have more info about the release?

There is a member of UC who bought 5 sets of the 16 Signature Collectors Boxes.
https://unitedcardists.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8349
On the first post he explained that the Rainbow series A included in the box is UV. Apart from that yes there is no other sources can confirm this.

Don, you really have a good point of view  8)

just curious though did you know which deck of the Rainbow series was included in the last variety box with Create Magic deck?

To the best of my limited knowledge, the only variety boxes that featured Create Magic decks from Blaine's Microsoft interns performance in 2014 were created by the Conjuring Arts Research Center - Blaine is on the board and CARC owns Expert PCC, the deck's manufacturer.  As far as I know, there were no other Blaine decks in that variety box.  All of the rainbow decks were from White Lions Series A, while both White Lions series were long done by the time the Create Magic deck came out - Blaine used Create Magic in his performance at the end of the summer of 2014 and it didn't start directly reaching the public (outside of eBay sales by Microsoft interns) until some months later.  If Blaine included them in a new variety box he released, this is the first I'm hearing of it (or I'm getting older faster than I thought and just forgot)...  I've never seen Blaine release the Create Magic deck anywhere, only CARC.

Actually there were 16 variety box released on black friday together with the first Black Lion Series. I e-mail David Blaine website about the Series A included in that veriety box but I didnt get response to which Raibow series was included in that Variety box.
