It'll say that there are new posts if the sub-board (STISO's in this case) also has new posts. Is that right?

No, as long as you've reached 250 fame at any point in time, you'll keep the badge. This is important since you can spend your fame in the shop, so it can go down.

Yes, that's correct. I fixed it last week. What Alex wrote before was right, you actually can have negative fame. However, if you do have negative fame, you have no influence over anyone's fame.

Hey guys, I just added some new badges. We had to do a little reordering, which resulted in a resetting of some badges. Don't worry about it though; once you log in and load the page, they should be back.
Contrary to what Alex said above :-X , there are still some which are still not implemented. When they're all done, let me know around tomorrow evening if there are still missing or stolen badges (badges that shouldn't be there).

After spending a good hour and a half on this, I've only managed to somewhat fix it haha. I guess as no one in their right mind would type "aaaaaaaaaaa......." anyways, but I'll keep trying to fix this. I'll also shorten URLS, so that will be fixed.

Also Alex, just to ask, will there be the possibility to upvote a post, rather than a user? It's just, people don't seem to 'Applaud' each other that much currently. I'm thinking that upvoting posts themselves might be a little more popular? Or are people just going to be encouraged to give positive Fame to others for good quality posts?
Fame does actually work on a per-post basis, so you'll be upvoting or downvoting a post rather than the user specifically. And that will affect the user's fame by a certain amount, determined by what we call your "influence", which is mainly derived from how much fame you have yourself.

It's actually our host, hostgator.com, that's been having problems with its servers, so it's all out of our hands. We'll be thinking about switching to a new service once the contract runs out. It's starting to get ridiculous how much downtime they have.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how you'd like the notifications to work? i.e., where they should pop up, whether they should pop up at all, or how they should be formatted. How do you like being notified or do you prefer going through the topics yourself? Just trying out something new.
I'm gonna disable the feature altogether, but it'd be great to have some comments from our users before I do so we can improve on it.
