I was looking at the site today, and I was wondering is there a reason why a brick costs $155? Just buying 12 decks would cost $119.

What you are missing is the rarity of those brick boxes; only a couple hundred were printed and even fewer will actually be kept in tact. Also, My deck cost nearly 4k more than any other limited edition run that has been produced by USPCC, that is no joke, and it certainly is a lot more than just pocket change. It may seem like a lot, but to the discerning collector, it is worth it's value.

You are welcome to buy 12 individual decks if you really want that many, but buying them individually will not get the custom brick. That's all. ;)

Personally I think the brick box works perfectly with the deck. I saw Savanna's unboxing. AWESOME!

@Lance -  your brick box actually gave  me a splendid idea for a DIY craft. But yeah. I'll have to plan out how it would work :P

I love the box too bad I can't really buy a WHOLE brick. :(
And WHOA with the shipping cost hahahaha! Well that's what I get for living far from the U.S.A.

It really is a beautiful brick box.  I just wish I could purchase a brick - I don't usually buy anything by the brick.

Inspiration! That is why I do what I do. Would love to hear more about your DIY project. Send me a PM? Yeah the shipping cost sucks, and since I'm a one-man company (aside from my wife who handles most of the logistics), I don't have any tried and true international distributors of my product.

Did you get your decks from Lance himself or from someone else, because i live just outside of the city and didn't get my decks today.

I Kickstarted this one, so I got them straight from Lance.  Two unsigned, one signed, and one KS-exclusive print of the card back.

I missed the kickstarter project, but got the 4 decks I ordered from his site as well. Scanned the QR code and it took me to a side to learn the Pandora trick and also mentions the story line behind the art

Here are some shots:

[edit] removed some of the shots and retaking them as I just realized some of the cards in the deck are not revealed.

I'm enjoying the deck a lot - will try to post photos tomorrow, minus the gaffs, naturally!

It's great to flourish - it has Magic Finish, right?

The artwork is gorgeous.  It's far better than I thought it would be when seen in person.  Collectors will love this deck.

Magicians can have a lot of fun with it, though you have to be careful about performing inverted-card tricks.

My only negative about the deck is that it's not as easy to use for simple card play.  The gold-for-black index pips look better than I thought, but the indices are really long, and the court cards have even longer index letters and don't have a pip in the index, but next to it instead.  In a card spread, you'd be giving away the fact that you're holding court cards by how spread out your cards are, unless you got crafty and spread them wide for all your cards, but that makes you more vulnerable to flashing your cards.

They may be still new out of the box, but I'd rank these cards very high.  I'm still looking forward to following the QR code and watching the video with the story of the deck as well as the trick.  I'd say that as much as I like the Gargoyles, these are actually more artful and beautiful.  And I really like the stock, too - what did you use, Lance?

Paul Carpenter from Encarded (the Tendril deck) mentioned that the 325 stock had finishing issues and was no longer in use at USPC.
