Playing Card Plethora / Re: Wrath Playing Cards by Shin Lim
« on: March 25, 2013, 07:03:56 PM »
Indeed that is where I got them from. However, when I contacted Shin he had no idea that they had been put on the market and was taken back by it. I do not believe he wanted all to have the link. There would be no point of a "coming soon" if he had intentions of that link being used.

I could be wrong though.

I actually already own this deck. It is indeed very sweet in regards to design. The fact that it is a Lim deck makes it even more special.

The Ultimate Deck is one that I would like to have, I just don't want to shell out the money for it. Though I already missed it for the DoTM deal, its presence in the deal makes me really consider going DoTM.

Thank you for the clear up on the collectors box. As for the Red Rounders decks...of course all of this is just speculation and nothing more. As with all releases or lack there of, everything is speculation until the time comes for clarity.
These may not even get released at all...who knows?

Being as I am still currently on the fence on buying a BC membership, I would like to see these released to everyone. But hell, if I ever do pull the trigger for a membership, I am down for it to be an exclusive. Either way, DM decks are a win. btw, I heard they released the BC boxes for individual sell?

Frost, I don't think shipping is dependent on race. The fact that you are not a "black member" vs a white or brown or yellow member holds no relevance  ;D

Jake, I laugh every time you post...love the sarcasm :D

This is hilarious. I am a bit sour, only because of how badly I want this deck in my hand...but reading this post has taken the edge off...FUNNY!

Well it would only be natural for the next question to be, would you be willing to do without the 6 of Clubs?  ;)

I cannot wait for this deck. I'll admit to being a DM fanboy lol

Yep, in confirmation, I did not see Bicycle's post of window date. I messaged them directly and they said as long as the order is placed by monday you are good. So I went ahead and placed another membership order. Standards are about $2.50/deck...so the brick alone is worth $30 where the membership is only $19. That is the brick alone, not even considering all the other goodies and the Club 808 deck.
Another reason why I went with another membership....how am I going to play beer pong with only 10 cups? lol

Screw this mess. I may have picked up a couple, one for use one for seal. However, with the hype leading up to its "purchase" release and that clearly not being the case, as well as the price tag of a deck far better than this one....I'm out. Not only out, but completely against this sack of bs.

Being in the military, I have wanted to like these other patriotic decks...but they have been terrible. This one is a home run in my eyes in the way of design. The price is steep as previously mentioned, and I am sure if they lowered it that they would be funded quickly.
With all that said, I am still in for 4 and a shirt.

Would go a long way in what regards? Do you think people are drowning on E because DM has a beard and hair? You may be right...I was walking down the road the other day and in passing heard "I would order some awesome items from Ellusionist if it wasn't for that fella's beard and long hair. Darn whipper snapper." And did you just make a brash statement insinuating having a beard and hair is a reflection of one's cleanliness? Damn, son you are a confused one aren't ya?

So here is the Griffin Deck in hand. The foil on the tuck and embossing are spectacular. The Griffin itself is reflected on the tuck and the AoS. The shadowing around the griffin gives it an almost 3D feel. I also really enjoy the back of this deck. Perfect shade of green. All else is standard.
