I'm waking up around that time anyway (Pacific time here) so I guess I'll just hop on and see if I'm lucky.
Not sure what I'll do with them though - I doubt I'll care enough to do a deck review.
If anyone on here nabs them - be sure to at the very least take pictures!

I highly doubt they will allow you to purchase more than 1-2 decks during the pre-sale. If it was unlimited quantities that would be ridiculous - I'd just buy all 111 and resell them the next day. o_O

The box, with what appear to be gold accents look quite detailed and classy. I'm definitely going to aim for a deck of these at some point.

Holy moly that's right. If that's the case its very likely they won't show us pics until the day of 10/31/11.

hopefully, i just got to see if they have a price out on them yet. if its not to high and shipping is decent i will try to get a few decks from both t11 (with monarch) and D&D(for the fantasique one) also yea you mentioned we are a family, so that means we stick together.

Unreleased info about the Monarch deck from Theory11:
Question: Is the Monarch deck going to be limited?
Answer: "All decks are limited in a sense, as there is never an infinite quantity available. That said, we have not restricted the number of these produced and will likely continue producing them until the demand for them dies down. We cannot guarantee that they will not sell out during the holiday season, but we will have plenty on hand."

If you don't get home till 4 then you won't be able to get them at the pre release but you can get them on their real release on 11/11/11 because there are an "unlimited" amount.

The the time has been released for 11am EST. This is good and bad for me. Good in a way that there may be more of a chance that I am doing nothing at work around 11am than 2pm. Bad in that I AM STILL AT WORK! lmao

You don't need to put credit card information. Just put in your address then the shipping price will be up.

Well, looks like my order went through. Bought 3 of them. Unfortunately, the only reasonable shipping method was USPS First Class, so I might not even get them that much before they are released..... Oh well.
Edit: wow, sold out in 2 and a half minutes.

no, i didn't, I checked back to see if they were still in stock after I ordered, and they were still there.

Boo. I call foul play on their timer mechanism. I suspect that their was a minor inconsistency across browsers or via the calculation from when you loaded the page. I purposefully had that page up for several hours, and watched it count down. It went from 0 directly to the Sold Out button appearing. Didn't even see the add to cart, even for a split second. I was ready to click the instant my timer ran down. In theory (get it, in THEORY?) that button should have at minimum appeared for all users at the same time, even if you only had a moment to click it.
It's not like I'm going to sue or anything, and I'll just buy a deck in a couple weeks, but as a professional web developer I'm kind of disappointed that their mechanism obviously did not work perfectly consistently for all viewers.

From what I noticed, the inconsistency seemed to be caused by having the page open, but being on a different tab in the browser. When I went back to the monarch page, I refreshed and a large chunk of the time was skipped to catch back up to what is should be.
On the bright side, at least this is not a ultra rare run of 111, only a week and a half before they have numerous decks for sale.

Its not worth making a fuss over, but I was excited to give it a shot, made sure I was ready and all that. If I didn't even get the chance to see the button, that means my local timer was off by at least 90 seconds (what they said it sold out in). So that was poopy programming.
I'd sure catch hell if one of my web sites interactive features was off by that much. :)
Ah well, hopefully their servers won't die on 11/11/11.

I'm in the same boat Ev, my wife was side-tracked when ordering and only got one. When I went to try to place an order for 3 it said I had to wait 10 minutes...and well, the rest is history. It is basically a sneak peek anyway, so no big deal.
