A new item worth noting:

Pokerstud52, a popular eBay seller with a good selection and reasonable prices, has started appearing here as a user.  He has a standing offer - contact him DIRECTLY for decks you want to buy (instead of buying them from eBay) and in exchange for saving him some eBay fees he'll shoot you a 10% discount on your purchase.

His ID here is the same as on eBay - pokerstud52 - and I've purchased from him before; he's prompt and reliable, not to mention friendly.  Use his eBay shop to browse, PM him when you're ready to buy.

It's not technically a coupon code, but it's definitely a discount and worth putting in the first post.

just to correct you abit .. previously when i was going to buy from him he say that if i purchase directly from him i will receive a 5% or 10% discount depending on the number of deck that i am going to buy, so i dun think that you will be getting a 10% discount if you are just going to buy a few deck

Well, he's giving me a discount - could it be that you're ordering from farther away and there's increased costs in sending to you?  US Postal Service rates went up earlier this month.

If it's not on the first post, it's not here - it's not like we have stock in a back room somewhere...  :))

People post what they find, and it gets edited into the first post by the guy who started the topic, simple as that.

Here's what the first post says about the D&D code:

Dan&Dave: "fancy426" - 10% off   Must be logged in to use.   *You can only use this code once*

Unlike many other companies, Dan & Dave now require all purchases to be made by using a D&D account - no "guest" purchases.  This means that if you ALREADY USED the code once, that's your one and only time to use it, period, that's it, no more.  With other single-use-only codes, you can log in as a guest instead of using your account, and that would allow you to re-use the code - at least until the company feels too many people are abusing the code.

Now, if you WERE LOGGED IN, and ATTEMPTED TO USE THE CODE for the FIRST TIME, but it still failed, then the code may be discontinued.  Was this the case, or not?

Well, on the Bicycle Star line, you could mention that we're only waiting for the Black Star - Red Star is already out; I own three decks.

You can also combine the Pale Riders red and blue into a single line, or remove them altogether, since we've learned that it's more of a trick deck.  The seller (Magic Depot) buys standard off-the-shelf Bikes and hires someone to apply a finish to them to make them appear faded - but there's been so many problems with the finish quality that they're trying to get the equipment and supplies to do the work themselves.  It appears that a huge number of buyers have lost confidence in the company to deliver the deck and have been canceling their orders, the most notable buyer I know of being BMPokerWorld.  So technically it's not a "newly-designed" deck, a la Series 1800 or Faded, only an alteration of an existing deck.  I mean, you wouldn't post it if someone magician was coming out with a new version of a marked deck, or a Mirage deck, or a Brainwave deck, right?

EDIT: I just read on another topic that BMPokerWorld is now selling Karnival Redux (v2), Karnival Dead Eyes v2 and Karnival Assassins v2.  The Redux has the new back and they all have a foil box just like they did with Karnival Midnight.  Seems they're taking a cue from T11 on how to market a deck, just with foil instead of embossing...

Hey Don,

I made those changes.  I agree with you on the pale riders, if it's just an alteration done to a regular Rider Back deck it shouldn't be on the list.

As for the BigBlind releases, I would imagine all the other decks in their line-up will get the same treatment.
I'm one of the suckers who buy these.  When you collect mostly Bicycle decks, and a company releases 7-10 V2s .. that's a lot of decks to be missing out of the collection.

I wish they would have made variations to all the boxes (like on the Dose deck).

So.. the world wants to know.. why the name change??

lol

Can I make a suggestion? Put the latest date updated on the first post so others will know when was the list last updated and the approximate release date.  :)  It'll be easier for others to keep track of the decks this way at least in my opinion.  :P

Here's another one for your list - Aurum, the next deck from Encarded according to their Kickstarter and Skulkor if you haven't added that. And whatever happened to the White Tally Hos from fullboatdealer, anyone know?

Just to be sure - better careful than wrong, right?

1) You made a purchase, not simply added items to the cart.
2) You logged in with your account.
3) You never before used the discount with that account.
4) Your purchase was finalized, credit/debit card accepted, items either in process or already shipped.

If you left out any of these four steps, then we still don't know for certain that the code is discontinued.
If you did all four steps and the code failed, then yes, the code is dead.

Would you please confirm you did all four steps?

This will be perhaps the fourth time I explain this in the forums...

OK, so I decided that as a professional in the magic community, I wanted my own name associated with my face and my posts.  But if I simply changed names, all my old posts and replies referring to "Good@Sabacc" would make no sense to the reader.  So I took a cue from Prince.

You probably remember in the early '90s, when he changed his stage name to an unpronounceable glyph.  The press wasn't having it, refused for the most part to print the stupid glyph and just referred to him in print as The Artist Formerly Known As Prince, or TAFKAP for short.  After maybe two years or so he dropped the dumb glyph and went back to being Prince, also jokingly known as The Artist Formerly Known As The Artist Formerly Known As Prince...

Eventually, I'll shorten the TAFKA Good@Sabacc to TAFKAG@S, then just leave it off.

I guess you're pleased to see that the new Dose Deck has been rebranded as Bicycle Karnival Dose Redux, bringing it into the Bicycle fold for the first time...  Out of curiosity, did you get the Dose, Hornets and/or Death Heads?

EDIT: Hey, I just noticed that someone already cut my name shorter!  Who did that?

It might be because the comma created problems in some cases. For example, in the online list at the bottom of the homepage I noticed your username was actually treated like two; it would split after the comma if it was too long. :P

We'll need to test that theory, the next time someone places an order with the Buck Twins that includes something other than just decks...and hasn't used the code yet...

It would have been treated as two if I was the only one logged in and it said 2 users present.  The comma was part of my handle at the time: "Don Boyer, TAFKA Good@Sabacc".  The system was only counting me once, but the comma I put in my name made it look like two different users.

Eh, it's done.  I'll just leave it.

You left Karnival Dead Eyes v2 on the list - that's for sale at BMPokerWorld and probably others.

Re: the unnamed Transducer deck - I read somewhere in these very forums that it was to be called "Night Sakura", but that it may have been canceled.

Just looked: PoundFFFFFF mentioned it on page 3 of THIS topic, back in November.  He said he hadn't heard any news on it in a while, thought it might be canceled.  Anyone try contacting K3 Studios?

I just checked his deviantArt page, which shows a photo.
 http://k3-studio.deviantart.com/art/Dissolving-210803576
He mentioned sometime last year that it was his fourth deck design and that he'd post about it in his journal when it was releasing.  The only journal post saying anything about a deck release going back to Sept. 10, 2010 is one made on March 5, 2011 to announce the release of Tranducer Fire.

But the thing is, he also posted this
http://k3-studio.deviantart.com/art/Royal-straight-flush-146920116?q=gallery%3Ak3-studio%2F3229085&qo=40 and this
http://k3-studio.deviantart.com/art/Transducer-137753366?q=gallery%3Ak3-studio%2F3229085&qo=45
indicating that the back was a Tranducer deck design.  I don't own any Transducers, but I don't think they looked anything like this, did they?

I'm having my doubts about whether this Night Sakura edition is a legit project in the USPC pipeline.  I did create a deviantArt account and messaged him about any card projects he has right now, so we'll see what he says.

Another item: Deck of the Living Dead is making another run on Kickstarter on February 13.  This time around, he's only making 2,000 sets instead of 5,000 and he has a few large merchant preorders, allowing him to set the goal for only US$8,500.  If you liked this deck before and wanted it, this is your chance, and don't be slow...
