And it looks as amazing as ever. Although I never imagined it would happen, the purple actually really does pop out on the black. I'm loving how Ellusionist always teases their releases.

Blue arcane? I think you meant blue artifice . I don't own any artifice decks. So I don't plan on getting this one. I still preferred the older Ellusionist decks

I got my Purple Artifice decks today and they are awesome! These aren't just a simple recolored back design. They added some awesome new things to the deck, changed some things, and recolored to back to be purple. I love it!

Would you share with the class just what those "things" in your statement refer to?  Because without that, all we know for sure is that they have purple backs...

Due to a site glitch, I got to order them a few days before they were released, sadly they shipped ten on Wednesday.

The pips all have purple in them, and they fade from either red to purple, or purple to black. At first I wasn't a huge fan of them, but now I find the fading a nice simple detail, which I enjoy.

Other then that, the deck is pretty much the same from what I've seen (this is the first Artifice deck besides Red that I've owned.

I just got mine today. They are very nice 

A somewhat important thing to note though is the silver ink on the backs  is the same style as the V2's and not the original.
