Title: Help identifying an old deck?

A kind Redditor suggested I post here to ask for help in learning more about this deck of cards. I work for a small history museum in the U.S., and we have these cards in our collection but have no record of the donation. They were donated to us at least 45 years ago.

I would be interested to know their age and if they are original or reproductions, the maker, how and where they would have been advertised and sold, and any other contextual information you might be able to provide.( Sorry the ace of spades is upside-down in this photo.)

Good morning. Thank you for sharing this deck. I found your deck in the Hochman Encyclopedia of American Playing Cards Part 1. Unfortunately, it was listed among early American decks about which nothing is known. About the only thing I can say is that it is highly unlikely that it is a reproduction, and it is old.
