Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

We've seen the geared back before with the Mechanic deck - and I'd wager that these are also capable of being read from the back based on gear placement.  However, it's much more colorful and visually interesting in its movement, plus the feature carries over to the time-machine faces, which I think is cool.  I'm not a fan of the borderless back, though - a thin border would suit this deck much better.  Plus his court cards are just plain lazy design - he's making a steampunk-clockwork deck but leaving out period figures for the courts, opting instead for a large suit pip with a big letter inside.  Now that's just boring.  For people who prefer their deck designs more baroque than minimal, this is worth looking into, for sure.

Don't like it and again, the goal is too low for a USPCC deck. Yes, it's cool that it's an "animated deck" but doubtful it will be a good quality.

These are pretty funky looking. Not in a bad way though.

I want to pirouette one of those just to see how the back design will look. :D
