I came across this video a couple days ago and CBJ just posted it on UC so i decided to post it here.

"We're planning to launch the Kickstarter project in June. The cards are 97% designed and in pre-press right now"

Sorry if I'm being harsh but why would you do a teaser for a deck and show something that handles so crappy. Like CBJ said on UC, it looks like these were printed on a normal home printer, but still....

I agree. They look and seem to handle like crap. The back design looks terrible, the index layout is crazy, nothing is working.

Why is anyone talking about how it handles?  It was obviously printed on a home computer as an example.  It in no way reflects how the final product will perform.

This. They're on pre-press, so not a single finished deck exists. My guess is that they either don't know about USPCC's prototype feature or don't want to pay the insane fees for one (very understandable).

This is clearly just to showcase their potential in terms of looks, and is not in anyway indicative of their final performance. I'm not to keen on the colors right now but that's entirely personal since I like strong contrasts. That back design looks very nice and I for one wouldn't mind seeing what the finished designs look like.

Give them a chance. :)

I don't like the design which is why I am judging it. If these get funded but AFPCC's Compass 822's deck doesn't, I'll be truly surprised. It was an awesome design...

The mismag deck might have been more successful if mismag actually promoted it more than the one time he did and if it was produced by someone else.

Did you guys check out the website for this deck?  It's funny - two young kids putting together their own site, complete with videos for sale and this new deck.  I think both of them combined might be old enough to buy beer...

For the last time, it wasn't his deck. It was AFPCC's. It was printed by USPCC, and everything about looked nice IMO. I don't understand why it didn't get funded. Probably because it didn't get advertisement from reviewers and sites such as AC and UC.

Don, I just looked, and yes, their site is hilarious!
